A/N: SNAC IS BACK! Haha, it's got a ring to it~ ^-^
Anyway, feedback (whether it's negative or positive) is highly appreciated, so feel free to write as many as you please~
*cough*imdesperate*cough*My alarm beeped repetitively in my ears at six thirty AM, only to gain an annoyed glare. I hadn't slept. Again. That's four days so far. I should pass out in about twenty four hours from exhaustion.
Instead of dwelling on my bitterness for that darn clock, I decided that I should begin preparing for hell. Aka: school.
I'm in ninth grade and I'm more than fed up with it by now. After showering, straightening my hair, rubbing concealer and foundation all over the dark bags under my eyes, and throwing on a pair of black skinny jeans and a muse t-shirt; I'm out the door and walking down the driveway.
I'd prefer to waste my countless hours writing and singing, but unfortunately, that's not the case.A four story building towers my view, its large shadow blanketing a great portion of the school field.
I headed straight for English class; but not without getting shoved against my lockers numerous times. If I could process an excuse in time to present my teacher with for being belated, I would have.
To further my disappointment, some new kid had taken up the seat next to mine; my anxiety escalating rapidly.
He appeared sophisticated and social, as he was waffling up a storm with Brenda, a fairly popular girl in the school; they seemed to be getting along rather nicely. Better her than me.
Common with the ladies, I would imagine. His hazel optics flickered to me for only but a few seconds before averting them back to the original receiver of his words.
Although I'd rather jump off a bridge than admit it, he was gorgeous.
Brunette fringe flipped to the left, charming smile, rare dimple denting his tanned cheek.I was nearly able to gracefully manage sitting into my desk, but my ultimate record of mortifying clumsiness was a daily routine; therefore, resulting in my books and papers scattered across the filthy tiles, my ass down flat on the ground, and desk tipped on it's side.
To my dismay, the remainder of the students began shouting and laughing at my misfortune.
This is why I shouldn't socialize or even place my self in similar situations. No one bothered themselves to assist my gathering of belongings, not that I minded. This way, there's less chance of me making a complete fool of myself at my lousy attempt at conversation, but I did feel overly self-conscious as all the student's gazes bored holes through my person.
A quick clear of the throat, Mrs. Mack, our VERY strict English teacher, had the whole class' attention drawn from me to her; the students not daring to advance their separate conversations with each other.
Once I had re-assisted myself back into my seat, that new boy from earlier had somehow coped with silently jumping over me and was now standing at the the front."Class, this is Daniel Howell."
"Just Dan, thank you." Out of nowhere, he seemed to shrink down a bit, but his voice never lacked confidence.
"Transferred here to Sai-high from Donell-high. Please don't be rude, and welcome him warmly. You may sit down, Daniel."
"Dan." The teen corrected her quietly before joining the remainder in their desks.
This was going to be a long day.A/N: Done! Stay tuned for more~
