A not so morning glory

Nathalie sat down at her desk, the morning sunrise shining through the expensive glass windows, Gabriel was probably getting ready, he takes about an hour to get ready. Nathalie typed on her computer, completing some e-mails and getting Gabriel and Adrien's schedule done. A knock came from outside of the office, "come in", Nathalie answered, in came one of the servants, "What should be for breakfast?", The servant asked, Nathalie looked at the dietary plan, "Breakfast sandwiches", Nathalie replied, the servant nodded and left the room. Nathalie continued her work, she got up and walked into the dining room where she waited for Adrien. A few minuets go by and in came Adrien, he sat down and put a napkin on his lap, the servant came in with two plates of breakfast, Nathalie took both of them and put one in front of Adrien, "Thanks mo-I mean Nathalie", Adrien said trying to hide he almost called Nathalie mom. Nathalie left to Gabriel's office, he was at his designing station, "Sir, are you going to eat with Adrien?", Nathalie asked, "I'm to busy", Gabriel said, Nathalie sighed and placed his meal on the table next to his station. She left to go watch Adrien, she walked into the dining room to see him playing with his food, "Adrien are you going to eat?", Nathalie asked, "What's the point of eating in here if father won't eat with me?", Adrien asked sadly, Nathalie sat down next to Adrien, "he's very-", Nathalie started, "busy I know, he never has time for me anymore", Adrien said. Nathalie suddenly felt a dizzy spell coming on, she took off her glasses and massaged the bridge of her nose. "Nathalie are you alright?", Adrien asked with worry, "I'm fine Adrien, please eat", Nathalie said standing up, she walked out of the room and back into the office.

Gabriel was looking at the Emilie portrait, "Nathalie, I need Mayura for this villain", Gabriel said, Nathalie walked over to Gabriel and stood on the area that descends into the lair. When they got there Gabriel walked into the center of the lair and the big window opened, the butterflies began swarming everywhere. It was kind of beautiful if you ignore them landing on you every few seconds, Gabriel transformed into the all well known Hawkmoth, Nathalie walked beside him and put the miraculous on. "Dussu spread my feathers", Nathalie called out, a blue light engulfing her, they sent out their feather and akuma. "This villain will succeed and I will finally reunite with my love", Hawkmoth said, Mayura nodded. "I'm gonna go out", Mayura said, "wait I will come too, I can't risk anything", Hawkmoth said, the two jumped out of the lair and hid behind a building, Ladybug and Chat Noir were struggling with the villain and senti-monster but they eventually prevailed. Ladybug looked up and grinned, she looked at Chat Noir and they jumped onto the building, "Alright Hawkmoth and Mayura, it's time to meet you're demise", Ladybug said, "no, you're time playing heroes is over", Hawkmoth said. They began to fight, Chat Noir extended his stick at Mayura and launched her away, "Mayura!", Hawkmoth yelled, he tried to go after her but Ladybug kicked him to the ground and continued the fight.

Mayura was flying through the air and eventually crashed into a wall, falling to the ground, the impact sent her into a coughing fit, this time it was different, dribbles of blood leaked from her mouth, pain ricochet off her ribs and her lungs tightened, she felt like something was coming up from her lungs to her throat. She let out some coughs to get it out, heaps of petals fell out, she took a closer look they were morning glory's. "What's happening?", Mayura asked, another dizzy spell started and this time she fell sideways on the ground leaving her helpless on the ground in an unknown alley way, alone.

Hawkmoth backed away from the two, trying to catch his breath, Ladybug heard beeping coming from her earrings, "this isn't over Hawkmoth", Ladybug said jumping away, Chat Noir going another way. Hawkmoth looked around, he needed to find Mayura, he jumped around for a few minuets before coming across an alley way with an unconscious Mayura on the ground, "Mayura", Hawkmoth said running over to her, she was shivering, when he picked her up she immediately wrapped her arms around him and buried her face in his coat. "My poor Mayura", Hawkmoth said, he jumped away with her in his arms/

He jumped into his room through the balcony and detransformed, he laid Mayura on the bed and removed the miraculous, he looked at Nathalie's helpless body, her eyes opened a little bit to look at him, "G-Gabriel", Nathalie said weakly. Gabriel sat next to her and she curled up to him seeking warmth, Gabriel put his hand on her forehead, she was burning up, "Nathalie I need to get some things to get you're fever down", Gabriel said trying to get up but Nathalie's grip tightened, pretty strong for someone with a fever. "D-don't l-leave m-me", Nathalie pleaded, her voice was so pitiful and so was her face, Gabriel sighed in defeat, he grabbed his phone and called one of the servants. "Get Nathalie's medicine, a wet washrag, and some Iceland moss tea", Gabriel said, he hung up and looked back at Nathalie, she jerked her head off the bed and started coughing, more morning glory's, she wiped the excess petals off her mouth and faced Gabriel again, good thing for Nathalie that he didn't notice, "Are you alright?", Gabriel asked, Nathalie nodded. The door opened and in came Adrien with the tray full of everything Gabriel asked for, "Adrien?", Gabriel asked, Adrien put the tray on the nightstand, "I saw the servant bringing these to you so I took it out of her hands, well politely", Adrien said. He looked at Nathalie and his expression faded into a worried one, "is Nathalie okay?", Adrien asked, "yes she just has a fever", Gabriel said. "C-can I stay in here?", Adrien asked, "you're supposed to be doing you're piano lessons", Gabriel said, he felt a slight pinch on his leg, "ouch, what was that for?", Gabriel asked, Nathalie looked at him, "let him stay", Nathalie said, "he needs to do his piano", Gabriel argued, Nathalie pinched him again but harder, "ow, will you stop?....fine he can stay", Gabriel said. Adrien smiled and climbed onto the bed snuggling up to Nathalie, Gabriel reached over and grabbed everything off the tray, he put the rag on her head making her wince, "this will get you're fever down", Gabriel said. He held up the pill, she groaned and took it with the tea, Gabriel put the cup back on the tray and fixed the rag on Nathalie's head. He looked at the two and they were both asleep curled up to each other, they took all the covers as well, Gabriel laid down with no covers that night, in his very cold room.
