Hellish Heather's

A big white light covered her vision, she winced at the blinding view, was she back in the warehouse she took shelter in when she ran from the Agreste's? but it was warm and comfortable, the warehouse had freezing floors that were covered in dirt and dust. Where was she? she tried turning her body but it would cramp up and send her right back to her original spot. Even though she couldn't see anything she could finally identify the light, it was night's flashlight, the moon, she realized she was in a very familiar room, her own. She heard crackling sounds, she could feel them too, they were coming from her chest, the other sounds she heard were beeping, like a heart monitor. What was happening? Why does she feel so scared yet so secure at the same time? then the rest of her memories began flooding back into her brain like a tsunami, The fight, the blood, the flowers. She felt a coughing fit coming on, Heather flowers poured from her mouth accompanied by vermilion red blood, her throat tightened, her body jolted into the fetal position causing dreadful pain all over. Tears fell from her eyes, "Am I dying?", She asked her self, that's certainly what it felt like to her, something touching Nathalie's neck alerted her, warm air blew onto that spot on the back of her neck, "Shhh", a voice from behind her whispered in a calm, and soothing tone, that's the moment Nathalie realized, she wasn't alone.

Gabriel poured the hot tea into the cup and placed it on the silver tray, next to it was a plate of toast with honey dribbled over top, he took the tray and began his way down the hall of the manor, the morning rays created a nice aesthetic in the room making it feel more comfy and warm. He stopped at the big brown door and turned the knob, he couldn't help but feel a sense of fear, a fear that he would walk in and she would be gone.

His fear quickly washed away as he saw Nathalie quietly sitting on the bed, messing with the heart monitor wire, "Good morning", Gabriel said placing the tray on the bed side table, she remained silent, "how are you feeling?", she still ignored him, the feeling of guilt swam around Gabriel's gut, all of the things he said to her that night were like knives in his chest. He walked to the end of the bed and sat down, he could see her eyes look in his direction then back at the wire, "Nathalie, when you're ready we can talk, I don't want you to feel obligated to talk to me even when you don't want to", he gently pat her leg and stood up. He didn't want to leave her alone, but he decided it was best to give her some space, especially after the recent events that occurred.

The sound of the door closing behind him was like a punch in the face, he wished that she had asked him to stay, he wished that she had said something to him, anything. He walked to his office and sat on the couch, he had no motivation to design anything, Nathalie was the only thing on his mind. If only he had stayed laying next to her until she woke up, being close to her felt refreshing, just having her peacefully laying against him instead of her running away from him or fighting him, was one of the best feeling in the world.

The sound of a door opening snapped him out of his thoughts, he opened his eyes and saw Adrien walking into Nathalie's room and closing the door behind him, of course she would let Adrien in, he felt jealousy creeping it's way under his skin and into his veins, one part of him wished it was him talking to Nathalie but the other part of him knew it was better for Adrien to talk to her.

Two hours had passed and Adrien finally exited her room, Gabriel walked towards him, "Is she alright?", He asked eager to know how she was, Adrien started going up the stairs, "she could barely hold her tea", "oh", Adrien arrived at his door and walked in, leaving Gabriel in silence. But then, violent coughs filled his ears, his legs began to move, he lost all control.
