Chapter 5

It was the last class of the day and all I can think about was Jack Roland. It was chemistry class and the bad part was that I was lab partners with Lee. We just had an argument at lunch and she takes things seriously... way too much.

We had to do a chemical reaction test using acid, water and cooling mix, and right then and there I can apologize to her!

"Everyone start mixing in your substances and fill out the sheet I gave to you and your partner!!" Ms.Boob said.

Lee looked madder then a bull when you were getting ready to fight one! Her face was nearly red and she was ready to blow..

I had to apologize to her for what I done.

"Lee can I.."

Lee interrupted Me in that sentence and said with angry force...

"Listen here bitch, I don't wanna fuck with your problems anymore!! I'm tired of you and fake ass problems!! I try my best everyday to make you happy and all you do was mope like a damn goat! Leave me the hell alone but expect for this class!"

I was so fucking angry at her and what she told me, yes I heard worse from other people but she was my bestest friend in the whole world!! What she said to me, broke down my whole world... so I had to fight fire with fire..

"At least I Don't kiss my cousins..."

Everyone heard what I just said to Lee and it was so embarrassing, Lee looked shocked and mad as fuck!!

Lee angrily grabbed the tube of water and decided to pour it all over me and then tripped me making me fall onto the table and down to the floor.

The teacher immediately grabbed me up and started yelling to both of us.. I couldn't hear nothing because all I could hear was the sound of laughter and blur.. the last thing I could remember was being dragged down the hallway and seeing people look at me.

Was the injury that serious? Did Lee hate me that bad? Was this a dream or was it reality? My life was total shit.

The next thing I knew, I was at home laying on the couch, I couldn't bare the smell of it, it smelt like bare ass and shit.

That's my dad's boyfriend because he never knew how to wipe his own ass!!

I saw my dad come over me and telling me how did I feel, I said I was fine even though I wasn't because my head was pounding faster then my heartbeat.

"What happend sweetie?"

"Dad do you really care what happened?"

"Yes I do honey!! I care about you very much and you know that! Now please tell me how did this happen?!"

"It was an argument with my Lee... she had tantrum and told me off then i didn't know what I was thinking and told her at least I don't kiss my cousins.. and yeah then she poured water on my head and tripped me over the table."

"And that's how you busted your head open!!"

"Nice way to catch up dad.."

I wasn't surprised that he didn't even ask me if I was hurt or okay... it feels like he don't even listen. I'm used to it and always will be.

"Well umm..do you want to go to school tomorrow Ariella?" Dad said.

"Yeah, I have somebody to meet at lunch tomorrow."

"Okay... well I guess I'm going off" dad Said

"Wait where are you going?!?"

"To my get my boyfriend some food, he wants take out" Dad said.

"Him again? What are you getting me?"

"Nothing.. we have left over beans in the pot if you want some"

And there he goes again, he gives no shit about me in what so ever. I was to that point where I just wanted to get out of the house while I still can, even though I had stitches in my head... I still wanted out!

I wickedly got up from the couch and into the street to let off some stream, and just take a walk in the sunlight. It felt good to be out in the world and just have some you time. Then I heard a strange noise coming from behind me.

It sounded like a car with roaring tires, as I turned around it was a dark blue Chevy catteract and it stopped beside me. I couldn't believe my eyes who was in the car.

It was Jack Roland.

"Hey Ariella, I heard what happend today in chemistry class, are you okay?" Said Jack

"Yea it was nothing and why are you driving down my street?"

I was so eager to know that why was Jack Roland driving down my street?

"Heading to the inner state this is my shortcut.. you need a ride anywhere?"

This is the moment, Jack offered me a ride to anywhere, I just needed to get out of this place and be some where with the people I love...

"Actually can I ride with you to where ever your going??"

"Yeah that's cool, I'm going to heights peek to watch the comet fly by.. it's a 30 minutes drive.. wanna join?"

"Yes"
