It was now the fall. Michael's birthday had just passed, his album was doing well, and life was going pretty well for him. So why was he looking at Ebony this way—sitting on the sofa in this guy's arms? Who the fuck was this jerk? I mean, he knew who the 'jerk' was, but why did he deserve to be with her?

He was holding his glass of juice, and forgetting to sip out of it. They weren't being overly-affectionate but he was annoyed by that guy's every breath. He had to catch himself from glaring every once and a while, and he was glad when Ebony finally went into the kitchen to grab a glass of water.

He excused himself from the congregation, and followed her. He was being forced to play nice with that jerk. Mostly, because he was working on sound production for the tour. From the other room, He heard his brothers laughing and chatting with that jerk & he was annoyed. The guy had an annoying voice. And yes, it existed. What was that guy's name? Tony? Tommy? Whatever. All he knew was that he was annoyed by his very existence. He was tall, brown hair, and blue eyes. Race was never a thing for Michael, but he still never pegged Ebony for the type to date white guys.

"Need help with that, bug eyes?" His soft voice teased her, causing her head to snap in his direction.

"Shit!" She fumbled with her glass before placing it in the safety of the sink. "You think that's funny, Asshole?"

"I love you too, E." He laughed before walking passed her and opening the fridge door. "When is he gonna leave so we can try out my motorcycle?" He smiled at her.

"Don't be rude, Michael." She playfully rolled her eyes. "He has to go to work anyways." He remained in the kitchen as he listened to her chat with Tony/Tommy/Tim (Whatever,) and usher him out. Once he was done, he smiled as all the tension left his body.

As Ebony continued to scold him, he led her her outside to his new Suzuki. "Get on, Girl. You're always fussin'. He put his helmet on, securing the chin-strap. Once he was secured, he hopped onto the vehicle and waited for her to do the same. She got on behind him and wrapped her arms around his body, causing him to shiver. "You're such a jerk," she scoffed affectionately. "I love you too, Eb." He retorted as he drove them off into the sunset.
