It was a week after Michael first came to Ebony's, and he was properly dug-in now. He'd been having pieces of furniture delivered to 'his' room. He had a desk, chairs, a table, a few lamps, and even a wardrobe delivered.

Ebony and himself had gone on plenty of shopping trips—bouncing from high-end boutiques all the way to the salvation army. He loved a good bargain, but he also liked to look his best at all times. Ebony was doing her own thing, and she insisted to pay for all her own stuff. She understood that money was nothing to Michael, but she refused to be 'that' kind of friend. For a matter of fact: she often bought him cute Disney-themed gifts and cassettes of the three stooges.

After exiting the store, the pair slunk back into Ebony's vehicle and made their way to the club.

Michael was a big star, but he wasn't a megastar—yet. He still caused a fuss when he was out, but he could still go out without the fear of getting hurt—especially near the fancy suburb that Ebony lived in. The people around here were used to seeing stars, and he was just one of them.

The flashing lights intrigued Michael as he entered into the club; The swaying bodies caught his attention as well. He enjoyed to people-watch, but then they played one of his favorite songs.
