Chapter Twenty One

Three weeks went by, Amy sat in the hotel room she had been staying in. She figured that they knew where she was and respected her enough to let her be. She had called the doctor about her missed appointment and see a doctor close to her and everything was going well. She sent a text to Lucas telling him that the baby was fine. She sat there in the room looking at all the text messages on her phone.

"Amy, I miss you so much, the bed is lonely without you," Lucas texted.

"Amy, I love you more than life, I need you, we belong together," Matthew texted.

"I will support any choice you make, if it's him, I will respect that, I want to at least be a father to our child," Lucas texted.

"We can raise the baby together as our own, I will be the father," Matthew texted. Amy sat there staring at the messages on her phone. Lucas was willing to step aside if she wanted to get back with Matthew. Matthew wanted to cut Lucas out of his baby's life.

"Amy, sorry about the previous message, if you want Lucas to be involved in his baby's life, we can do that, I would do anything for you and to be with you again," Matthew texted.

"I dealt with our fathers, they have been taken care of," Lucas texted.

"Sis, Dad is in the hospital, he got what he deserved after what he and Daniel did," JJ texted.

"We will keep you updated but we know you wouldn't care right now and you are right not to, what they did was inexcusable," Sam texted.

"We love you sis," JJ texted.

"Take care of our little niece or nephew," Sam texted.

"Hey girl, we heard what happened, I talked to my stupid ass brother, he and I worked things out and one thing was that he leave you be which he agreed as long as he had me back in his life," Jamie texted.

"Hope you are doing okay, miss you," Ashley texted.

"Amy, I had no idea what my husband and your father did, I was no part of it, I swear to you, I am beyond livid at Daniel for this and I'm currently staying with Lucas at the house for the time being because they have to clean the house after what happened, yes clean, Lucas was beyond livid at what they did, my husband is currently in the hospital with your father recovering from the gunshot wounds that Lucas inflicted on him," Carla texted.

"Oh my," Amy said.

"Amy, baby, I love you, I truly do, I would do anything for you, I can't lose you from my life," Lucas texted.

"Amy, you are everything to me, I can't lose you, I love you so much," Matthew texted.

"I know you don't want to hear from me, sweetheart, I'm sorry for what I did, Lucas and Matthew are two great guys and whoever you choose, I will support the choice, I love you honey, and I'm sorry again," Jack texted.

"Ugh!" Amy said. She held her head in her hands. Her phone beeped a few minutes later.

"Amy, Lucas just got attacked by a rival, he's been shot and in the hospital, Hank and Todd are guarding him along with the rest of the men," Greg texted.

"Oh god!" Amy said. She got her stuff together and checked out and headed home. She went to the hospital and saw Hank and Todd standing outside a room.

"Guys?" Amy asked.

"He's in there," Hank said.

"It's not looking good," Todd said. Amy went in and saw Carla sitting by Lucas's bedside holding his hand.

"Carla," Amy said.

"Oh Amy!" Carla said. She got up and came over and hugged her.

"How is he?" Amy asked.

"They said that he might not make it through the night," Carla said.

"Who did this?" Amy asked.

"Ricardo Mann, a rival mafia king, he thought Lucas was part of the fake marriage with his father and yours, Daniel called him and told him that Lucas wasn't a part of it, Ricardo is gathering all the mafia kings to discuss putting a treaty in place so nothing like this happens again," Carla said.

"So he regrets it?" Amy asked.

"Big time," Carla said.

"Deeply regret it," Ricardo said.

"You did this?" Amy asked.

"I deeply regret this," Ricardo said.

"If he dies, you will pay," Amy said.

"Amy honey," Carla said.

"I can't lose the father of my child!" Amy said.

"I will forever regret what I did, I am very sorry, I talked with the other kings, they agree to a treaty," Ricardo said.

"That's good now go," Amy said.

"As you wish, I'm sorry again and I will forever regret what I did," Ricardo said. He left and Amy sat down and took his hand in hers.

"I'm here, Lucas, you can't leave us, you are going to be a father, please don't give up, fight please fight to come back to us, I love you," Amy said. Carla hugged her as Amy cried softly as she held his hand.
