"Well at least somethings are still the same."

I mused as I looked around my cell. It was still the same metal and glass box they had put me in before, except only Cisco and Dibny came to do medical tests with Ms. Snow on the phone.

"Now boys I don't want you pulling Kymina into any of your shenanigans! Not until we figure out how to, um-"

"Fix her very broken mind no thanks to Thawne and the Time Masters, yeah we know. She nearly killed him yesterday."

"Wait what?"

"Yeah apparently he kissed her, than she processed to arrest him and then beat him within a inch of his very existence."

"He is still alive, right?"

"I can hear you Ms. Snow and yes I am, albeit a little bit sore and tired but yes I'm still among the living."

"Then my suggestion is you boys leave him alone to rest, and go work on figuring out a way to help Kymina."

The boys grumbled their responses back and left. I settled down into my bed for a bit of rest.

"Thanks, but why are we doing this again?"

"Because you said, and I quote, 'Just because I don't like winter, doesn't mean I can't enjoy hot cocoa.'"

I was wearing a pair of nice warm and very comfortable pajamas. She was in a pair of soft pajama pants and a cozy short sleeved nightshirt. We're snuggling under some blankets in the living room near the fire. We had cups of hot cocoa behind us, Kymina was curled up in my lap enjoying the warmth from me and the fire.

"Thank you for this."

"You're welcome."

I kissed the top of her head, pulling her as close to me as I possibly could, as if she'd vanish at any moment.

I woke with a start, another memory from the abrasion I caused, another reason to love her. She may be a time abrasion, but that doesn't mean I can't still love her even with these memories. I made some of my own in the previous timeline, I can do it again. I sigh and roll over to find Kymina looking at the live brain activity.

"What was making you so happy while you slept?"

"I was dreaming."

She turn and looked at me as if I told her that it was raining actual cats and dogs.

"We monsters dream too, you know."

She let out a small huff of a laugh, from the way she rolled her eyes and turned a way I could only assume she didn't believe me.

"I was dreaming about you actually."

She turned around to look at me staying silent so I continued, studying my finger tips and nails as I talked.

"About that one time during December when we had hot chocolate and sat in front of the fire. Wrapped up in a nice cozy pile of blankets."

Looked up from my inspection of my hands and raised an eyebrow at her.

"You remember that don't you?"

She glared back and marched toward the glass slamming her right fist on it.

"Just because you rewrote the timeline and saved my ass, doesn't make us even. You still see me and everyone else as pawns in your sick little revenge game against Barry. Well I'm not gonna be your fuckin pawn anymore. We are through."

I let out a small laugh and got up and walked closer to the glass.

"You'll be back, Kymina. Only time will tell and you'll remember you belong to me."

I whisper back, watching as her face goes from intimidation to slowly boiling rage.

"Go to hell, Thawne."

She storms out and I head over to the selection of books they'd supplied me with. The book on top was from the play Hamilton. I never did get to see that play. Well at least I get to read it.
