she glared up from her computer screen for about 3 seconds until she continued to type madly.
"im michael" i say and she doesnt bother to look up as she replies,
"madison."
i watched as she furiously typed on her laptop, her eyes never leaving the screen.
"so-"
"your hair is red." she points out. her eyes glancing up at my head then back down to the screen.
"it is" i say but it comes out more of a question.
"i recommend purple. lilac to be specific." she says, shutting her laptop. she rests her elbows on the table, her hands holding her small face.
i sat there, across from this interesting girl. she almost intimidated me, almost.
"are you gonna say something or continue to stare at me, its kind of creeping me out."
"i've never seen you around here before"
"that's because i prefer to stay in my apartment all day."
i sat there, looking into her dull eyes. she was interesting to me. i wanted to know more about her, i needed to know more.
before i could say something, her laptop was in her bag, her leather jacket on, coffee in her right hand and she was headed for the door.
i got up, quickly following her out into the cold fall air.
"madison!" i called
she turned her head and rolled her eyes,
"you're annoying."
"i know."
"good."
"where are you going" i ask as she continues to walk away from me
"leave me alone." she says tugging her jacket tighter.
"i ju-"
"would you please fuck off" she says glaring at me.
she turned on her heel and headed down the side walk. there was something about this moody, gorgeous girl that interested me. and i was determined to make her mine.
