DAY TWO

Poland soon woke up with a headache. He looked at the fire next to him and looked next to him and was expecting Germany to be there.

He wasn't.

A wave of worry and fear was about to hit him until he realized Germany was just watching the sunrise, just a few trees away from him. He gave a huge sigh of relief, and Germany turned around. "You're awake early."

"Niemcy...? What are you doing?"

"Just looking at the sky. I've done this, it's just you've woken up earlier than usual." He said, blankly staring at the Polish man. His eyes were a bit red.

"Germany, your eyes.."

The German looked like he was about to zone out and then blinked. "Oh, it's fine. I can't sleep as usual."

Poland sighed and looked at the fireplace, thinking. They were still lost. Still in the middle of nowhere. Still nobody probably had figured out they had gone missing.

"I wonder if anybody has noticed if any of us has gone missing." Germany said.

--Back at the hotel--

America was just looking around in the rooms. He was bored, looking at each room for which country to annoy for no reason. He looked at Germany's door. Should he knock? He thought for a moment.
Nah. He shrugged and continued to move on. He assumed the German was still probably sleeping on his desk and looked for another country to talk to.

--Back at forest--

"Yeah..." Poland said. After a while he looked at his fingers then back at him. "I can't feel my fingers or legs."

"Me neither."

"You still got that plastic bag on you?"

"Yes." He got it out and handed it to Poland. "I already poured half of it."

He nodded and he poured the rest of the water in his mouth then gave it to Germany who refilled it with snow once again. "Man. I wish we still had food."

"I'm dead starving."

"Of course we are."

Poland stared at his wrist, where his bracelet used to be. "This is my fault."

He looked at Poland. "Vhy?"

"If I just haven't forgotten... we would be in our rooms. Right here right now. It's probably still there just lying there in the fucking bathroom..." He curled into a ball. Germany stopped leaning on a tree to hug him for not only warmth and comfort. Poland didn't mind.

"Heck, even I forget my bracelet. I once left it on my bedside and went without it for a day. It isn't your fault. The chances of getting lost and forgetting your bracelet are rare, but guess that happened. But you didn't know. You didn't."

Poland was on the verge of tears but he just closed his eyes, and rested his head on Germany's shoulder. Germany blushed but he continued to hug Poland. "There there..." He closed his eyes too.

The wind had started to get worse, they both were shaking hard. Germany and Poland both got their wings out. It helped but the wind was getting worse. It started to get cloudy, as well as snow starting to fall as well.

"We need to build...W-we need to build a shelter.." Poland said quietly.

"I wish I knew h...how..." He thought for a second. "Wait... follow me." He said and stood up. He lended Poland a hand and they walked together, putting an arm on each others shoulders with them going against the wind. They put their leg in, then out, then forward then into the freezing snow.
