Chapter 12

Time passed and it's Friday. I'm not gonna lie, I'm excited for the date but I'm also nervous because Oliver doesn't want to tell me his plan.

For the whole week, well four days, he's been staying in my room to study and leave when I was done studying. He goes to lunch with me, he goes to the house to pick me up, he gives me all stupid but sweet gifts like chocolate, love letters, flowers, and there's a lot more. I feel happy again, not because of the gifts but because of him being with me again.

Exam week is almost over, well its over for me because I only have one exam and it was in the morning, I'm currently in the library working. I looked at the time and its 4 PM.

A few minutes passed by Oliver came, I logged out and went with Oliver. “Hey there cutie.” Oliver greeted.

“Shut up.” I smiled as I said it. “Come on.” We left the library and went to his car.

“I'm gonna drop you off at your house first, wear something warm and comfortable.” He informs me.

“Why? Where are we going?”

“I told you, it’s a secret.” He lower his voice like he's telling a secret.

“I hate you so much.” I said while laughing. In response he laughed as well. A few banters later we arrived back to my house. “I’ll see you in a few minutes.”

“Of course, I'll see you later, cutie.” He winks and left. I went inside and head straight to my room. I set my things down and changed my clothes and went to the living room where everybody is.

“Is everybody okay?” I asked.

“I think I failed today's test.” Justin said.

“You’ll be fine, you didn't. You're smart enough to pass the test.”

“Rude.” He turn around and looked at me. “Where are you going?”

“Uh, a date? Oliver and I literally told you guys yesterday and Hannah told everyone at the dinner table last Monday night.”

“Oh, right.” He said then lays down on the couch. I looked at Hannah who was talking to Blake, I pushed down Justin then hopped on the couch. “What the fuck? You can see I'm laying down there?”

“I wanted to sit.” I replied which he returns with a mumble of incoherent words and sat down next to me.

“Leo, Oliver said that he's on his way.” Hannah told me.

“Oh, okay.” I said nervously.

“Oh, someone's nervous.” Justin teased me.

“Shut up. It's been a while, okay.” I told him then punched his arm lightly.

“Hey, no punching.” He said then pinched my cheeks.

“Fuck off.” I reached to his face but he dodged it, I started tickling him making him squirm like a worm.

“Stop! Okay, you win!” He said while laughing.

“Children.” Hannah said to Blake.

“I know right.” Blake replied with a sigh. I looked at him. “I’m not ticklish and I'm a lot stronger than you so don't even try.”

“Damn it.” I said jokingly.

We all heard the doorbell rings and I quickly get up and went to the door.

“Hi there cutie.” Oliver had a smile on his face.

“Hi there, where are we going?” I got out and closed the door. Oliver opened the door for me and I went inside. Oliver went around and entered the driver's seat.

“That’s a secret, just be patient.” Oliver told me. “You’ll love it.”

“Whatever.” We arrived at the beach. “Wait, are we going to the cave?”

“Maybe.” He got out and rushes to the door and opens it for me.

“Thanks.” I got out of the car and he closes it. He took a picnic basket on the back seat.

“Let's go?” He asked. I nodded then took his right arm and hugged it. “Can you stop being cute? I'm trying so hard not to kiss you right now.” He bit his lip. I pulled his arm down and kissed his cheek.

“There you go now come on, let's go to the cave.” I told him then we started walking. I saw him bit his lip while smiling and his eyes sparkles from the reflection of the light from the sea. He looked at me and he had the biggest smile he ever showed me. My heart started beating fast.

I looked back in front of me and I saw the cave getting close. We navigate our way through the rocky part of the beach and stopped at the entrance of the cave.

“What did you do this time?” I asked him.

“I may or may not done something inside the cave.” He said then we started walking inside. I can see lights all over the cave, when we reached to the middle part of the cave where there's a huge hole on the top everything was beautiful.

There's a table next to the pool, a candle on top of the table. Rose petals around the table. The water was sparkling like there's light below the water. The walls are lit up though I don't know how it did that. I looked at him.

“How?”

“Time and dedication also Ethan, Hannah and Blake helped me with everything.” He chuckled. I started hearing music but its coming from above. Oliver placed the basket on the floor next to the table and went back to me. “Can I have this dance?” He reached out his hand which made me giggle.

“Of course.” I reach out and held his hand. He put his other hand on my waist, I put my other hand on his shoulder. “Is Ethan playing the music?” We started swaying to the music.

“Yeah, he said he plays the piano and the guy that he likes plays the violin so they're above with speakers connected.” I reached my hand to his face and rubbed his cheek. “I really missed you.” I put back my hand on his shoulder and I leaned to his chest.

“I missed you too.” His chest vibrated as he said those words, his heart started beating fast and he kissed the top of my head. “Come on, let's eat.” We stopped swaying, we let go of each other and he pulled the chair for me and pushed it back when I was about to sit. He sat in front of me and pulled out a rotisserie chicken and some side dishes and some utensils.

“How did these fit in that?”

“My mom helped me out with that one, she has magic on her side.” I just nodded. He started giving me food and I did the same to him. We just laughed while eating, having a great time of our lives.

By the time we finished eating it was already sunset. We went out and looked at the sun going down, I saw him staring at me then kissed my cheek. The music stops and he turns me to him.

“I had the best time with you ever since we met. You keep brightening up my day with your sarcastic, witty responses.” He holds my hands. “Leo, I know that one date wouldn't make you mine but I will keep trying until you are mine again.” He reaches out something from his pocket. It was a box, he opened it up and it was the same necklace that we got. I looked at him in the eyes. “I promise you that I will never hurt you intentionally and would never dream to cheat on you. I promise every misunderstanding we have will be solved by us communicating with each other.” He takes out the necklace and puts it on my hand. “And I promise you to love you with my whole heart and would love you until my end.” I saw him tearing up and I reached out and wiped it with my thumb.

“Oliver, just ask me to be your boyfriend, will you.” It took him by surprised and started to say something.

“Leo will you be-“

“Yes, Oliver. I will be your boyfriend.” I told him the pulled him to have our first kiss. Our literal first kiss. After our kiss we laughed. “So much for being harder to get this time.” I said to myself. We went back inside the cave, the music started playing again, we continued our date. Ethan and the guy he's been seeing left at 7 PM. Oliver cleared the table and put the trash in the picnic basket and we left when it was 8 PM.

On the way home we were laughing and having a banter. We reach back home we went inside and saw everybody in the living room. Hannah notices the necklace back on my neck and she squealed. “Congratulations you two.” She walked to the both of us and hugged us tightly. Blake, Justin, and Jackson came as well and hugged us. Oliver and I are stuck in the middle.

“Okay, you guys can stop now, its already hot in these clothes.” I told them and they let go. “Are you gonna stay over or going back home?” I asked Oliver.

“I’m going back home, I need to clean the things we used. I'll see you tomorrow though.” He kissed my lips in front of everyone. “I love you.”

“I love you too.” He left and when I turn back to everyone they were shocked. “What?” They bombarded me with questions and I told them everything. I went back to my room and changed my clothes then hopped to my bed. I felt tired but the last thing in my mind is Oliver. The guy who climbed through my window.
