the wedding part one

Weddings were stupid. Especially hetero weddings, if you asked George. He had went to a bit too many, some with the same grooms or brides, and they had always been the same. There still has to be a wedding to surprise George how fun they could be.

Other people always seemed to find them fun with saying things like: "Look how happy they look!" Or "They are going to make wonderful kids." Even while it is clear as day the groom cheated. Conclusion, they were something else.

His parents seemed to be one of those people, but worse. They were always harassing George with stuff like: "When are you going to find a pretty girl?" Or even worse. "We found someone for you. She's a great girl to marry."

No matter what George had spat at Dream so long ago, he was gay. A raging homosexual, if you may. Or in his father's eyes: a disgusting faggot.

He closed his eyes and sighed. How was he going to survive the day? It wasn't even noon and these infiltrating thoughts were already sabotaging him.

With his hands shaking he tied his tie.

Some two irrelevant people were going to marry that day. This was the third wedding from the groom George was invited too, but nobody was talking about that.

He grabbed his phone and keys and made his way out of his apartment down town. Within 15 minutes he arrived at the location, perfectly on time. He made sure he smelled good, put on his blazer and walking into the big church.

He gave off his invitation and was guided towards his seat. It was somewhere in the back. Not surprising because George was only invited because he was the son of the family Founds: important people. It would've been the talk of the town if George wasn't invited. Something he found quite weird and stupid since he didn't even want to come here.

Alas, he sat down at the stupid seat. There were cards on the seats with the names written down. Next to him sat a man named Clay and a man name Nick. Oh good, he had to sit next to people he didn't know. It was something he already had suspected but a bit inside of him hoped he would've been placed next to Dream.

He quickly shoved that thought away.

'Yes, sir, you can sit over here.' George looked up to see who was going to sit in the same row as him and was slightly surprised to see Sapnap walking over. He was sporting a big smile, which became even wider when he saw George.

Him and Sapnap never really had a bad interaction. They teased each other in a very friendly matter and luckily held no bad blood at all.

Then he sat down on the seat where some guy named 'Nick' should've sat.

'Georgie! Hey, nice to see you here-'

'Is your real name Nick?' He blurted out. Sapnap raised one eyebrow before both glanced at the card now in his hands. The weird nickname holding man sighed.

'It took you very long to figure that out.'

He thought back at how many times mentioned the name Nick in front of him: a nice boy his age. He only now realised that it was Sapnap?

'It doesn't matter though,' George suddenly rushed to say as he saw the sad look in Sapnap's eyes. 'I'll still call you Sapnap. You're still Sapnap to me, I mean.'

The man next to him chuckled sadly. 'Thanks. It's just- Dream, Bad and me, we hate this. We hate the whole posh thing. I mean- the only reason we are invited to this is because of our families, not because of who we are.' George nodded, completely agreeing with him. It always sucked because it never felt like he was his own person. 'As Nick I am son of, but as Sapnap I am my own person.' Sapnap looked on the card next to him, pausing for a second. 'And the name is so much better,' He added, trying to lighten up the tension they created.
