You stand in front of Rick. Confused. You clear your throat after Rick let's go of your shoulders, still smiling at you.

"I'm sorry, what?" you ask, tilting your head. Rick's smile drops slightly and he scratches the back of his head.

"I thought you wanted to go on an adventure. I-I mean, me and Morty always go on adv-ventures and shit. I just thou(burp)ght, 'Hey, you have a wife. W-why not'?."

Rick smiles down at you again. You face-palm and softly groan, "You disappear to, who knows where, th-then you come back just to take me out of my house? Not cool, Rick." you fold you arms with a sigh.

"C-c'mon!" Rick pumps his fists into the air, grinning ear to ear, "It's your birthday! Have f-fun!" you pull out your phone to check the time, but end up going onto whatsapp.

Blade: hey mom. Hope you had a great time with us! Happy birthday, momma!

Sent five hours ago. You look at the time, 04:28 am. You shoot a look to Rick, "It's four in-in the morning! What's your problem?!" Rick rolls his eyes.

"Thought you wa(burp)nted to spend time with me." he mumbles, folding his arms as he looks away.

"But I always see you." you put your phone away, still looking at Rick, who groans.

"Yeah, but we're never alone." Rick looks you in the eyes, "The(burp)re's always the b-babies or friends or-or family. We're just never alone."

You sigh, brushing a strand of hair out of your face, "Honey, if it was bothering you, then why didn't you just tell me?" Rick drops his gaze to you ground, shuffling his feet a little.

"I thought you'd get mad. I mean, they're ou-our family. Why wou(burp)ldn't you?" Rick asks, taking out his flask.

"Yeah, but you're my husband. I don't want to do something that bothers you. I want you to be happy." you say in a soft tone as Rick takes a gulp from his flask.

You sigh, tying your hair into a ponytail with an elastic band on your wrist. You make sure your shoelaces are tied tightly before you stand straight, hands in your pockets, grinning at your husband.

"Now c'mon. Let's go on an adventure." Rick beams and gently grabs your wrist. He dashes to his ship, which is by a river, for some reason, pulling you along with him.

Rick opens the ship and takes out a black and (f/c) backpack, which he puts over his right shoulder, closing the ship's door behind him.

"Uh, Rick?" Rick takes your hand in his left one, then gives you a kiss on the forehead.

"Yes?" Rick asks as you two start walking into a nearby forest. You clear your throat, slightly swinging Rick's hand.

"What's up with the bag?" you ask. Rick lightly chuckles and shrugs, looking down at you, "Rick." you say in a demanding tone.

Rick sighs, stops and faces you with a serious face, "Remember BP?" a shiver runs down your spine at the mention of your brother. You sigh.

"Yeah..." you breathe out before pulling yourself together. Rick clears his throat, wanting to continue.

"S-so, there's a few thi(burp)ngs we need in order to-to help him and fix his mem(burp)ories, 'cause he thinks we're evil and T-Tammy was a goddess or-or-or something."

Rick rolls his eyes at the end, "So, we're gon-gonna take a few things from that castle." Rick points to a castle in the distance, not looking at it, "Ca(burp)use they've got some old things that'll w-work great with our stuff."
