First meeting (The Avengers)

Yay first preference chapter (has been edited since original publication)
Pietro's is kind of long and Steve's is very short btw

Tony:
You were an absolutely brilliant scientist who did great things for your country. However. Due to mistakes, you made in your teen years and an accidental major crime in your early 20s (wrong place, wrong time accident) nobody cared that you graduated high school with top marks at 15 or that you had 3 bachelors degrees and 2 masters in various forms of science and technology, you were currently struggling with employment.

The head your department at Shield was horrible and constantly went against your contract, stole and sold credits for your work and embezzled so you were barely paid enough for your rent but nobody else would hire you if you left and nobody followed up on your complaints about her.

You and your best friend Maria Hill were walking through central park during your lunch break. She had convinced Fury to move you to a new science department (however it would take a few months) and have Ms Stone seriously investigated. You smiled at her before your phone started blaring highway to hell. Upon glancing at the caller ID and seeing it was the dreaded woman your immediate reaction was to yell (very loudly mind you) "Oh fuck me!"

A few feet away you heard an even louder yell in response "Usually I'd say fuck yeah straight up but could I at least buy you dinner first"

Steve:
You stole his car.
You stole Captain America's Car.

Bucky:
You used to work for Hydra usually as an intelligence agent and were sent to assassinate the winter soldier when he went rogue.

After over two years of tracking him down and observing him, you took your shot.

You missed.

Bruce:
You were the mum friend in your group, you all worked at Shield as agents in various different departments and you called all of them your children.

One day there was an attack and after the threat was gone the hulk mistook one of your 'children who was an undercover intelligence agent pretending to be Hydra as a 'bad guy' so you went to protect him.

The hulk roared in your face and was about to hit you for shoving the 'bad guy' out of the way and standing in his place when you blurted out a completely random and very bad dad joke about chemistry. (You panicked)

The hulk stopped suddenly and a minute later there was a laughing/crying naked Bruce Banner on the floor wheezing at the terrible joke.

Clint:
He was on a mission out of the USA where you and your family were living at the time. You were at the time doing some rather sketchy work to provide for your family struggling financially when Clint tracked you down and offered your family a home in the US with protection and more than enough money to support you all in exchange for helping him get to one of your bosses

Thor:
You were one of the servants in Asgard. Your job specifically was to serve Prince Loki. You would do whatever he asked of you and would accompany him on the rare occasion he wished to leave the comforts of the palace (his bed chambers and the library in particular).

You had had this job since Loki was just in adulthood so you had grown very close however somehow you hadn't actually met the eldest prince for at least 260 years after getting the job.

It was quite awkward when he barged into Loki's room while he was bathing in the next room and you were reading on the edge of his bed as the thought of you being Loki's personal servant who he'd known of but never met completely slipped his mind

It was also not helped in the slightest when Loki emerged shirtless only a  moment later. Thankfully however wearing pants.

Loki:
You 'fell for him' immediately and he caught you (that's what he likes to tell people at least).

You are a princess from Alfheim (the realm of the light elves) and were laying carelessly on a high branch on the tallest tree in all the realm which stood in the very centre of Asgard in the palace gardens. It was your first visit so you were very excited to see everything it had to offer. You had originally been looking at the stars taking in the stars, continents and planets you had never seen back home before in wonder until you fell asleep up there.

Early the next morning the princes and the Queen decided to go for a walk together in the garden while the two kings spoke about an alliance and potentially the arrangement of a marriage which was yet to be mentioned to anyone besides them both.

Prince Loki who was talking with a wolf pup and an eight-legged horse began to play with them including using his magic. One of his spells hit the tree sending a violent pulse through it and you fell out. He caught you with his magic and promised not tell your father how he found you knowing it would get you in trouble (princesses can't be caught like this). He recognised you immediately due to a painting Queen Frigga had shown both princes before you arrived.

Pietro:
You were running late to an important lunch with your family who you hadn't seen in over two years and they were NOT patient people. Tardiness was NOT something they appreciated. You also were already the 'family disappointment' and found it easier to do what they want on the rarity you see them rather than listen to hours of nagging.

Your car was being fixed and you had missed the bus so begrudgingly you ran to the nearest subway station. (god you hated running, you also didn't love trains or subways).

Hurriedly rushing down the stairs you were halfway to the bottom with the subway only a minute away. It wasn't particularly full today (only about six on the platform and four others on the stairs) thankfully, you hated people with a passion. Someone bumped you harshly into the handrail and another stepped on the edge of your shoe making you fall forwards.

You let out a small yelp and cover your face with your arms prepared for the pain to come (you were the family disappointment, of course, you had done this before. You knew exactly how bad this would go). The floor fell from beneath you and your stomach lurched and rose to your throat.

You didn't fall

Letting out a shaky breathe you open your eyes to see an attractive young man above you. He had one hand on the rail and the other was wrapped around your waist. Shocked in silence you were almost compelled not to break eye contact with him. 'Holy fuck his eyes are pretty'. He opened his mouth to speak but he was cut off by a high whistle "Ven iz zee vedding?" a brunette woman called loudly as she passed you both down the stairs.

It was at this moment that you realized the position you were in. The way he had caught you he was basically dipping you. After another moment staring at you intently with his blue crystal orbs, a few pieces of pale silvery white-blond hair fall over his face with the deep brown roots barely visible, he pulled you back and walked you down the last few stairs before speaking up in the same thick Russian? accent as the woman earlier and asking if you were ok.

It was late in the afternoon when you realised the note in your pocket

'next time I catch you, it'll be because you fell for me'

Peter:
You and Peter went to school together for most of your lives but never actually spoke until you were in your senior year and your boss at the daily bugle (where you were both doing work experience) put you on a report to study the avengers from a distance and observe them 'naturally in life' with him taking photographs while you wrote.  You were surprised to find that Peter actually took photos quite often for your stories and articles after they were written and before publication

You and Peter were quickly getting paired up for almost every assignment both at work and school so you were forced to become close.

Sam:
A complete accident
Literally

You were in a relatively minor collision (being rear-ended a little) with him after someone had cut you off in traffic and you'd had to suddenly break to avoid hitting them. You both got checked out by a medic together to ensure you weren't injured badly and exchanged information for insurance

Stephen:
You were a patient at the hospital where he worked who had just been discharged when you met him at the hospital's cafe getting a coffee on his break.
After that almost every time he went out somewhere besides work you would run into him, even once by him coincidentally going to your work while you were about to take your lunch break
