Ashton's P.O.V

*2 months later*

"Why she brake up with you? It seemed like everything was going fine. Like you guys just kissed last night at my house, smiling mad hard." X asked through the phone.

So finally X asked out Diamond which is great...but I had to face reality that this means theirs no reason for me and Lani to still be "together".

"She said she felt like our relationship wasnt going to work out." I said lieing which made X laugh a little bit.

"Women be bugging. But whatever man, are yall still cool though because I dont want it to be awkward tonight."

Tonight me, Lani, Di, and X are hanging out at the skating rink together to "celebrate". It may not seem like that big of a deal, but it took months for this to happen, so I'll give them their little "time to shine".

"Yea well be cool. I'm sure she's probably crying her eyes out right now though. I mean, I am Ashton Knight."

"I think your forgetting she broke up with you." he said while laughing, "But you know, you are Ashton Knight." he continued laughing which made me hang up the phone.

If only he knew.

Alania's P.O.V

I plopped down on my bed with my face going straight for my pillows.

"You're handling this brake up way better than I thought you would be." Diamond said while walking out my closet with two outfits in her hand.

I looked up at her, then rolled over so my stomach was facing the ceiling.

"What are those for?" I questioned while pointing to the clothes.

"You didnt forget." she said with a serious look in her eyes.

I nervously laughed and started playing with my fingers while looking down. "What?? No I didnt forget! You said we were...um,we were...oh! Yea I got nothing." I say completely forgetting.

"Were going skating with Ash and X. You know to celebrate us getting together. Now here get dress." she says throwing my outfit at me.

"Aww your outfit is...everything! For skating atleast." I say while laughing alittle. "Thanks, its comfortable, but you look super cute. Almost like your trying to impress someone?" she says while smirking and walking outside to call X. Probably asking him to pick us up.

I dont think I have to remind her that she was the one that picked my outfit out for me. Even though me and Ash "broke up" I still feel bad for lying to Diamond. Just have to keep reminding myself that I did it all for her so she could be happy...right? Yea.

I walk outside with my phone in hand, and wait with Di for the boys. "X said they're right around the corner." she says walking closer to the street. I follow.

"Maybe I dont say it much but I'm happy for you and Xavier, honestly. it's not good to rush into a relationship, there's nothing wrong with waiting." I say smiling at her. She smiles back but then pauses.

"Wait- but didnt you and Ashton start dating after going on one date. " she says while making eye contact and raising an eyebrow at me.

Oh she remembers that....

Right before I got a chance to answer the question, Xavier came zooming around the corner and pulled up right in front of Diamonds house.

Saved by the bell, or the...speeding car?

"Hey Lani, and my beautiful girlfriend Diamond. Yall ladies ready to try out blades today?" Xavier says while we get inside the car.

(Xavier:driver,Diamond:passenger me:behind Diamond, Ashton: behind Xaiver.)

"X, it's not "trying out". I rode quads before." I said while laughing a little and rolling my eyes.

X looked back at Ash through the rear view mirror and started laughing historically.

"Oh no sweetheart, were not doing quads. Amateur hour was been over." Ash looked over at me and then started laughing again.

"I'm confused. It sounds like yall lost yall damn minds tryna say we going on in lines." Diamond said while looking at X den back at me.

All I know is I dont really care what we go on, I'm more concerned about how this night is going to end. X all of a sudden wants to Have "great ideas" and wants us to all go on double dates tonight.

Well, they were double dates untill today. Facing reality that me and Ashton dont have to hangout is a relief, But then we really dont have a reason to hangout at all.

Being friends with your ex would be "difficult", if only we were ever actually dating. But I dont have to worry, me and him were always just friends so thiers no difference.
