Quote of the Chapter:
Never let anyone decide what you become, what you do and what you should aim for. Make your own decisions by yourself but also know that you would have to deal with the consequences of your actions.

Paah!
A very hot slap landed on my cheek. "All you had to do was to prepare to make food for my children and you just messed it up by preparing a burnt offering instead eehn?"
"Tola mu koboko yen wa fun mi" {Tola bring that whip for me}. The little witch of a sister was ready to oblige and eager to bring the whip. She quickly ran to bring it.
Waai!
The whip landed on my back.
Waai!
A corresponding stroke of the whip on my chest. Stroke after stroke she continued beating me as tears overflowed from my eyes – beating me as if she takes joy in doing it. She beat me up to the point that my sense of feeling became numb and I couldn't do anything but to lay down on the floor in pain.
"Je ne sais pas ce que je fais encore ici de toute façon.
J'imagine que j'étais un idiot de penser que vous changeriez," I muttered in French so she wouldn't understand me, oh and News flash I speak French , Je parle Français.
"Un plus grand idiot de vous laisser abattre mes murs et de vous laisser voir à travers moi.
Tout ce que je veux c'est mon éducation et après ça, je suis hors d'ici." I continued.
While beating me, she hurled insultive and abusive words at me like Olodo, Ode, Oponu, Oloriburuku masanfani omo. {dullard, fool, idiot, unfortunate child}. When the insults became too much for me, I decided to close my ears the insults as tears continued streaming down my face. When she was done beating me, I ran to my room {actually the room I share with Tola}.
