When you entered your apartment, your parents were sitting in the living room as if they were waiting for you the whole time "oh hello mother, hello father what are you doing here?" you seethed coldly, for after having the best day of your life you didn't want your scum of parents here to nag you or something like that,  "well (y/n), we tried to contact you yesterday about our visit to you on the phone but you never answered nor even bothered to greet us when we--!" your mother was halted by her husband. "ENOUGH! . . . The reason we called yesterday and came today was that a known serial killer was spotted in this area so we came to make sure..."

". . . I was safe?" you asked with a tint of hope, "no I couldn't care less what happened to you! To make sure the killer was by this building for sure, there's a huge reward for catching the murder" your father smugly spoke while you looked dumbfounded but not surprised for they never were there for you from plays to sports to your graduation they never bothered to show for you. As you got ready to give the two of them the boot, the tv came on with the news channel, a live report was being filmed by a reporter, as she stood outside a seeming innocent gray house with police lights flashing.

Good evening, I'm Rachel  Shamlock, coming to you live from in front of the crime scene where  precisely  1 hour ago, 32 year old Arthur Chub-Bottoms; owner of the local bar in this town was found murdered in his own home. The camera then panned over to the corpse of your former boss, who looked like he gone through a wood chipper with two empty sockets for eyes; a fearful expression plastered on his mangled face, as you watched with ever growing dread.

According to the witness claims, the victim was seen entering his house at 7:45 pm and minutes later the power went out and sounds of struggling emitted from the household. After the authorities arrived, they found the body nailed to the wall with the words "He Comes..." written in what appears to be blood.

Police chief Dunman has released a emergency statement  "this may be the work of occultists of sorts, for this isn't the first time this happened. Stay indoors at all times and Lock all doors and windows until further notice, if you see ANYONE suspicious contact the local authorities right away."

Your heart was pounding faster than ever, as the chill grew into a blizzard as a faint whisper echoed through out your home

"....mine..."
