A sacrifice for honey cake

It has been 2 days since I became aware of who I am in this world. I've always wanted to live in the world of a novel, but at least as the heroine or my favorite side character! Yet I got the villainess. But what surprised me was that the villainess looked a lot like me. I never really noticed it while reading the novel, since the author didn't put much effort in explaining exactly how she looked.

But I felt really comfortable in this body, and I think it's because it looks a lot like me in my past life. I also have some memories of the Camille before I came here. I remember the names of a few people, and some conversations with them.

But since I know the events in the novel, it's easier to piece everything together, And also, it will help me avoid the disaster of what happens after the heroine arrives. But my biggest problem was that of when the heroine arrives.

The heroine is the bastard child of Duke Kole, and lives the life of a commoner before the Duke finds her, and brings her into his home. Rumors start going around about her, but it's not until the 2nd Imperial Princess' debutante is when she makes her first appearance.

So, I thought I had some time left, but it turns out that the ball is tomorrow, and I have already accepted the invitation! Stupid, stupid Camille, didn't you see you were throwing yourself in harms way! Anyway, I really don't want to attend, I wonder if I can fake being sick or something.

While I am wondering a way around this situation, I get the urge to eat my favorite cake, honey cake! Mhmm, just thinking about it makes me drool. -Hey, Anne, do we have honey cake?-I ask Anne, who is standing behind me.

-No, miss, as of what I have heard, only the Royal Palace's chef can make something as complex as a honey cake.-Anne responds. Well, that ruined my whole day. I know honey cake is not easy to make, but only one chef?! If only I could visit the Royal Palace...............

Brace my soul, I am about to do something stupid, but if it's for the sake of honey cake, I am willing to give any sacrifice. It's fine if I just go to the Palace, have some delicious honey cake, and leave before the heroine arrives. My plan is full-proof.

-I've decided to go to the ball!-I yell my thoughts out loud. Anne looks at me with a glare filled with killing intent,

-Were you planning on not going, miss?-She asked in a sinister tone. Anne was the maid that was always next to me. She has been next to me for my whole life. She entered the manor in a young age, but she got used to here quickly. She's the one person who scares me in this house of mine

-N..no.-I answer in a quiet tone, lowering my head and nervously laughing.......Scary Anne......
