Once again it's Monday morning, and I have school. A place I don't want to be because, of course, I would rather be sleeping just like the rest of the teenage population. The only bright side of going to school is that I don't have to stay at home where I continuously got harassed by Kyle and Zach all weekend. They would not leave me alone. Kyle had the great idea of Zach staying over the whole weekend, so they were constantly picking on me for what had happend at the party with David. I don't see why it was a big deal in the first place, yeah it was embarrassing because I got wasted and threw up on another person's shoes, but that doesn't make it my most embarrassing moment.

I walk down the hall way towards my locker, and see a group of football players gathered around my locker. Standing right in the center is Kyle and Zach standing on either side of my locker with equally smug smiles on their faces. This can't be good. I would rather not deal with the two idiots that I was trapped with all weekend. I don't really need my science textbook that bad.

I quickly turn on my heel and start walking away. I can see my first hour door at the end of the hallway, just a little further. I pick up my pace, and hear the sound of several footsteps coming after me. At this point I am in a full on jog to get to my class. I am almost within reach of the door handle, but with no avail, a pair of arms circle around my waist and pull me backwards into the owner of the arms.

"Where are you going princess?" Zach says. Damn, I was so close!

I turn and give a fake smile.

"Oh you know.. Just going to Science."

"Don't you need your textbook?"Kyle comes from behind Zach with my textbook in hand.

"Okay. Cut the crap what do you guys want?" I sigh, giving up on my innocent act. "What are you guys planning?"

"What's wrong Kyla? We just wanted to see how you were doing this morning!" Zach starts pouting at me.

"A group of football players aren't all concerned with my well being!" My voice rises, and causes a few students walking in the hallway past to stare at us. "What is really going on?" I say lowering my voice.

"Okay. Fine." Kyle says holding up his hands. "Apparently David has been asking around about you, and word got back to Cory. Cory told Zach, which I don't know why he told him since I am you brother." Kyle gives Zach a what the heck look.

"Cut to the chase, Kyle." I cross my arms over my chest in hopes of being a little more threatening.

"Well we just wanted to make sure he wasn't trying to contact you or anything." My brother shrugs his shoulders. I know he is just trying to look out for me, but he had always had this protective, controlling side of him. It is not the first time he has tried to control what guys I talk to, or scare off whichever ones are interested in me.

"I don't see how him contacting me has anything to do with you."  I snap at him. Not that I'm actually interested in him, but I've had to deal with both he and Zach's crap all weekend and he is always trying to control my love life.

"Look. He just isn't a good guy. You and I both know that. Actually no, both schools know that Rud has a reputation." He lets out a sigh. "I don't know what he is doing, but I just don't want to see you get hurt." His eyes soften.

"Yeah. Like Kyle said, we don't know what he is planning. It could be he wants to add another girl to his list, or he wants to pull some more crap like he did on game day with his little prank." Zach puts air quotes around prank.

"I understand that you guys are trying to look out for me, but I can handle myself. Obviously." Snickering starts erupting from that group of football players still gathered around my locker. "And it doesn't concern the rest of the football team!" I raise my voice to make sure the group of players hear me, I turn and glare daggers daggers.
