Colby and I were at Target looking at hair dye. My blue was fading so I was trying to figure out what to dye it next.
"Do blue again." He suggested. "I wanna do something else." I say looking around. "What about red?" He suggested again.
"Alright, America. What's next, white?" I joke as he laughed. I scanned all the colors until I found one.
"What about this?" I pull a color out to show him. It was purple so I think it would work. "I think that's the one." He agreed with me.
We started walking to the cashier to pay for it. "Is Casey gonna do it?" Colby asked as we walked and talked.
"Yeah, she usually does it." She did my blue, which turned out pretty good. I paid for my box of hair dye and started walking to my car.
We were gonna do it at the condo so we we're gonna meet Casey and Kevin there. I got into the drivers side as Colby got into the passengers side.
As I was pulling out of the parking lot, I could feel Colby's stare. "What?" I ask looking over at him.
"You just look beautiful." I couldn't help but blush. He was so sweet. I glanced at him as I drove. He looked away to look at the sun setting.
The way the sun was reflecting on his face made him look good. I mean, he looks good all the time, but the lighting does him justice.
We get to the condo and it looks like Kevin is already here. When we walk in, his laugh was filling the room.
"There they are! You got the hair dye?" Casey asked me. She was sitting on the counter while Kevin was standing next to her.
They were super cute together. "Let's do this thing." I smile. While they go to the bathroom, I head towards my room.
I needed to change into some older clothes. I put on an old t shirt and sweats. I go back to the bathroom to hear them all laughing.
"What did I miss?" I ask questionably. "Kevin and Colby were telling me a joke." Casey laughed. She had everything set out on the sink.
I sit in my usual spot as the two boys sit on the floor. Kevin was eating on something as Casey put the gloves on.
"Kevin, what are you eating on?" I ask as he hid them. "They're my sour patch kids, don't look at them." Kevin faked being angry.
Colby and I looked at each other with wide eyes as we laughed a little. Casey started doing my hair which caught me off guard.
Ivy and Blair were out watching a movie so it was just gonna be us four for a little bit.
"Can I have a sour patch kid, brother?" Colby nervously asked. "Oh yeah for sure." He took the bag and tilted it towards Colby.
"What the hell, Kevin?" I ask laughing. "Thanks, Kevin." Colby could barley get it out without laughing.
I just rolled my eyes and laughed along with them. I love how much we can get along with each other.
I think it'll be really fun if we went on a double date. I'm going to have to bring it up to them.
We spent a while joking around in the bathroom, and it was super fun.
After a while, we finally dyed my hair purple. And it looked good as always. Right when I walked out of the bathroom, Ivy and Blair walked in.
"It looks good, Eden." Ivy smiled while looking at it. I made sure to thank her and Casey for doing my hair.
I then go into my room, Colby following me. I plop myself on my bed as he sits on my office chair.
He picks up my sketchbook and starts skimming through it. I was watching him while he flipped through my book.
"You're so talented." He complimented me. "Those aren't the best because it's when I first started but thanks." I explain.
He kept looking at it too, which didn't bother me. Colby and I didn't even have to be talking, and I still enjoy being with him.
"How come you don't have an instagram for your artwork?" He asked, sitting it down. I sit up so I can look at him better.
"Because I do my real artwork on bodies." It was true. I didn't want to be known for my instagram pictures of my artwork.
I wanna be known for my tattoos. He was smiling over at me as my phone started ringing. I looked over and it was Austin.
"Hey short stop, what are you doing?" He asked. I could hear the strain on his voice as I put him on speaker.
"I'm with Colby. Are you okay?" I ask getting worried. "Do you think you can come to the parlor?" He asked.
"I'm working on someone now and have two people lined up. Jake said he was coming too and no one else is here." He explained to me.
I stood up so I could go ahead and change. "Yeah, let me change I'll be there." I pull out a pair of leggings and a shirt.
Colby turns around so I can change. "Okay, thank you. You're the best!" He then hung up. I guess everyone else was either busy or off.
"Did you wanna stay here or go home?" I ask Colby when I get done changing. I grab my shoes as he turns towards me.
"I can stay here and hang out. Just be careful." I smiled up at him as I stand up. "I will." I kissed him on the cheek as I ran downstairs.
"Where is she going?" I hear Blair ask as I grab my keys. As Colby started to explain, I had already walked out to my car.
I got in and started driving to the tattoo parlor. It took me around twenty minutes to get there.
And right when I go inside I tell the person that's waiting that I'll take them.
I just hope I won't be here for too long tonight.
