His first heartbreak

Kyoko POV:

That hug I had with Makoto yesterday.. it felt so good. But surprise surprise, Sayaka interrupted us.

Sayaka and Makoto have been dating for a month or 2 now. He seems happy with her.. which is good for him I guess.

The people that are going on the school trip today have to get to school early. I saw Makoto standing outside the gate, probably waiting for Sayaka so I go up to him.

"Hi Makoto" I say. He seems surprised to see me. But he smiles. "Hey Kiri, I'm just waiting for Sayaka" Just as I thought he's waiting for her. He called me Kiri again though, I kind of like it.

"Sayaka might not be here early because she isn't going on the trip, we could go in now, I see the rest of our class going in" I say. Makoto smiles. "Okay sure" he says.

Most of our class is bunched you in a group when we walk into the classroom. It's about half an out before we would usually even arrive at school so we expect to see an empty classroom but what we see is-

Everyone was shocked. Especially Makoto. No one knew what to do and Leon and Sayaka hadn't even noticed we were there yet.

I decided to say something. "Sayaka." I say "would you care to explain what this is?"
Sayaka pulls away from Leon and looks up. I could see her mouth the words 'oh my god'

Suddenly Makoto steps in. "Sayaka?! Why the hell would you do this?!" He shouted. Chihiro looks sad. "Leon.. why..?" he said sadly. "Bro you have to all wrong, Sayaka said that she broke up with Makoto!" He quickly replied.

I wad disgusted. Why would Sayaka do this to Makoto? I decide to walk up to her. I looked her in the eye ready to slap her but before I get the chance she kicks my in the stomps her and then everything just went blank.

I wake up on the floor of my classroom with Makoto looking right over me. I hear people shouting at Sayaka and people saying my name worriedly. Everything is blurry then suddenly I hear "Kiri!"

I finally come back to my senses and sit up. Asahina was asking all sorts of questions to make sure I was okay. My stomach really hurt but I didn't want to worry anyone so I kept it to myself. Sayaka was getting mad at everyone. I guess that's the only thing you can do when everyone is going against you.

Now that Makoto broke up with Sayaka, that means he is single. Not that I want to date him, or that he wants to date me. That wouldn't happen...

To no ones surprise I unfortunately didn't get to go on the trip. But Makoto decided to stay at school with me which was nice. He said how he didn't really want to go anyway.

"Hey Kiri?" Makoto says. It sounds like he's about to ask a question. "What is it?" I reply. Makoto awkwardly laughs which makes me smile because it's really cute. "Would you like to come to the Christmas Festival with me on Friday?" He says. I blush. I know it's not meant to be a date but I can't help the idea that he might think it is one. "I'd love to" I say. I covered my face because I could feel how red it was going.

At the end of the school day I walked home with Makoto. It was nice having no Sayaka to interrupt us.
