lily's college life

lily eventually went to college on a writer's scholarship that her writing teacher gave her after she completed her honors in writing. she did eventually went through driving school to get her drivers license she was ecstatic to hear that she passed her driving test. when she finally got settled into her dorm she looked up when a girl walked through the door "hi I'm holly are you my new roommate for the next four years?"Asked holly. lily nodded in agreement while lily was still unpacking her stuff. holly was curious about what lily brought with her to college so she went over to look around at her stuff. "please don't touch anything I just rearranged everything so that I could find it later' replied lily in a nervous tone holly eventually stopped what she was doing and sat down at her desk. "did you ever go to college party before'? asked holly with a curious look on her face lily nod reluctantly she never went to a college party before because she was not that type of person to go parities  especially a college party. 'there will be a party tonight at the campus are you in or out?' said holly still looking at lily with a smile on her face. "okay I'll go but just this once' lily replied reluctantly. soon it was nightfall and she eventually went to the party with holly they drank beer and told each other ghost stories. lily was excited that she had a best friend at this university. they eventually enjoyed each other's company as the days rolled on at their university holly was impressed with her best friend there were some things she didn't know about her new best friend lily so she asked one out of courtesy. 'what was your life like before you were adopted?'asked holly lily told her the whole story and when she was finished telling the story about her life she asked holly the same thing but her story was different than Lily's story. she sat down on the floor before she started her story "I was five years old when I was adopted I was originally from Seattle my birth parents didn't know what to do with me so they gave me up for adoption I got adopted eventually by these two wonderful people" said holly as she grabbed a picture off the wall to show lily. "my adopted parents names are bill and sally they are incredible people in the whole wide world' replied holly with a smile on her face. when holly finished her story about her life she felt more at ease that her life wasn't as bad as lily's life. holly was very happy that she had a friend that went through the same thing as she did but lily's life was more complicated than that. they eventually had a great time with each other in their dorms and helped each other with homework. they both attended classes the next day holly had the same class as lily they were both in writing class together they were surprised to see each other there. ''I didn't know you were in this class holly" said lily with a surprising expression on her face. holly nodded in agreement "I didn't know you were in this class too" replied holly as she took her seat in the front row of the classroom while lily sat next to her. the teacher walked in the front door to greet his students "settle down everybody please take your books out for today's writing lesson" said mr stevens with a tired expression on his face he eventually fell asleep on his desk and everyone was doing their own thing they didn't pay any attention to what mr stevens said it was all a blur to them. when class was over holly and lily went to lunch before the last class of the day which was mathematics they both hated that class because there teacher didn't know math right. holly and lily both walked into the classroom and took their seats by the back row so they wouldn't notice the teacher walking into the classroom. "alright class I want your homework from last night' said mrs Jane as she walks through the desks of each student. mrs Jane continued with her mathematics lecture to the students they of course were paying attention in her class which made her very happy. finally the school bell rang and students the got up from their desks and went separate directions. holly and lily eventually went back to their dorms to finish there homework from last week's classes. holly sat down at her desk and finished all of her homework so did lily "why so much homework this week' asked lily with a frustrated anger on her face. holly turned around to look at lily 'it's because they are not easing up enough on students these days' replied holly as she looks at lily with 'I told you so expression' lily nodded in agreement that school isn't what it's cracked up to be. holly and lily continued with university and went home on the last day of school for summer break. when they both got back from summer break they both were officially seniors at Hawkeyes university in Utah. holly and lily spent the last 3 years together at university partying, getting drunk on campus, and staying up late doing homework before summer break started in June. they both couldn't believe they did that type of stuff together in such a short time. in their senior year of Hawkeye university they were definitely not going to miss around because they were dedicated to their own life and responsibilities. they wanted to make their parents proud and they did just that. holly and lily both worked hard at Hawkeye university they both eventually graduated from Hawkeye university with honors in writing and literature. lily eventually got a job at a different university as a writer she always dreamed of this day,
