You shot back a quick reply before locking the door. It was still pretty early in the day, you figured now would be a better time than any to train. However, before you could get to that, you needed to take notes on today's events, particularly your interaction with the impetuous blondie. You hated this part of the process, but it was essential to your quirk, forgetting your interaction could cost you a valuable asset in combat. You pulled out a small moleskin journal from your begrudgingly started scribbled out your conversation with the red-eyed menace remembering as many details as you could. You threw it across the counter before making your way outside to enjoy the weather. It was still summer, after all, loads of times to kill before the start of the first semester. Only Two more weeks
The beautiful blue and purple hues danced across the sky, illuminating the cityscape below with the strong yellows of a setting sun. You had spent the day training diligently only stopping to great Kiyoshi after his afternoon nap. You whipped the sweat from your forehead, your mind drifting back to the events that occurred prior that morning. You thought about the blond's explosive quirk growing excited at the thought of using it yourself. The colourful explosion of reds, oranges and yellows intruded you. However, before attempting his ability, you figured it would be best to shower to avoid your sweat from dampening any explosions.
You made sure to thoroughly dry yourself off before stepping back out into the brisk night. You could barely see the stars as you stared into the inky void of the night. Your neighbourhood was too close to the bustling city for you to escape its light pollution. You outstretched your arms activating his quirk, trying to notice any alterations to your bodily functions. You concluded his quirk activated at the same time he used it; a simple fact at face value, but to you this information crucial. You thought back to the first time you experienced his ability, the image of his arms outstretched filling your mind. You mimicked the action trying to summon the explosions you witnessed earlier, but your hands remained empty. You attempted only to conquer a small spark, but still nothing.
"Well that sucks, I was really hoping I got a simple emitter quirk this time" You groaned making your way back to your room.
