I know you all can probably figure it out but the different fonted words are what they sing! Enjoy!
Christine-
Raoul told me everything Madame Giry said, where she found him, what he was shown off as, and his name, his beautiful name. I said it to myself "Erik" I whispered it for the first time, and my heart flutters and a tear falls from my eye. Half way out of the lair I begin to cry. The Phantom, Erik, watches me as I leave and my heart panics.
"This isn't right."
"Come now Christine he'll never hurt us again let him be." Erik and I keep eye contact.
"He's not to be alone, that's not our story." I say quietly as Erik walks towards the last smashed mirror to leave forever.
"what's that dear?" I shake my head and hop out of the boat and run through the waters, splashing and smiling uncontrollably my heart beats fast as Erik backs back out of the broken mirror and looks confused. He walks to the water and slowly makes his way towards me through it, stopping a mere 7 feet away. I close the distance between us now two feet apart. He tilts his head at me as if to say, "Christine?"
"I've made a mistake. I've been confused, And I-I apologize, to the both of you. Raoul your friendship was most welcome, but your advances these last few weeks have been sudden and... out of character. I appreciate your support and worry for my safety. But I realize as I have known deep down, he won't hurt me."
I look up to Erik and see his calm face. My feet are cold as I stand in the catacomb's water, my white dress turns grey in the muck and I put my face down in shame at the pain I have caused these two. Raoul still standing in the boat at the gates enterance stares with tears in his eyes."Go, tell the others nothing you have seen here, tell Meg-" I looked to Erik for help on what to say and he put his index finger under my chin and looked into my eyes.
"Tell Meg, that prudent silence is wise. Christine is fine and she will see her regularly." He says not breaking his gaze.
"Is this, truly what you... want? Christine... you said yes to my engagement just yesterday and-"
"I was frightened, and confused, so I clung to what I knew, finding too late that what I should have clung too, was the one I was running from." I said placing my hand gently on the right side of his face, the deformed side.
"Go, now, my friend and forget what you've seen." I tell him what Erik yelled at us only 15 minutes ago. Raoul shakes his head sadly and makes his way out. Erik and I stand there looking at each other in the bright candlelight.
"Christine." He says leaning his face into my hand with his eyes closed.
"Erik.." I say softly. He puts his hand over mine on his face, he opens his eyes and gives me a grin.
"It truly suits you." I say.
"Say it again." He says. I give a small laugh.
"Erik." He smiles wider. "Erik Erik Eri-" he pulls me into a kiss and spins us around.
"I love that more than you'll ever understand." He says.
"Erik I love you" I sing as he sang to me before. Erik exhales and says.
"You have no idea how long I've wished to hear that my angel." I smile as my whole body suddenly feels warm even in this cold water. Raoul could never make me feel as such.
Erik takes my hand and leads me out of the water."Come, lets get you dry." He extends a hand to me and I take it.
"Singing Don Juan with you Erik, I was not umm- I was not-"
"Acting?" He smirks. "I'm aware." I raise my eyebrows.
"I suppose we have much to talk about-" I say and Erik stops in his tracks right before the mirror.
"I suppose you're right." He gives my hand a reassuring squeeze and hands me a towel.
"Lets get you into regular dry clothes. We have a long night ahead of us."
"Wait." I say and I grab Erik's hand and make him look at me. I show him his ring and put it back on my finger which causes him to smile greatly. Maybe one day we'll have a real wedding, but for now this is what we have and it means the world.
