Hi! Shreya28267532 made a story with some really amazing mood boards, so make sure to check that out!
Rose and Hermione stayed in Hogsmeade together for hours. It was dark before Rose returned home, and she was tipsy. Since they were both of age, Hermione and Rose decided to get some Firewhiskey to destress. Rose stumbled out of the fireplace with a giggle and a hiccup.
"Rose?" Harry asked hesitantly. He and Ron were sitting on the couch, both of them looking at her with confusion and worry.
"Hi, Harry," Rose giggled. "You're cute."
"Thanks," Harry said as he gave Ron a look and stood up. Rose giggled and fell into his arms, gently playing with his hair. "Are you okay?"
"I'm better than ever!" Rose laughed.
"You're drunk," Harry said plainly.
"Bloody hell, you and Hermione got drunk!" Ron said with a laugh.
"Not drunk," Rose said firmly as she stumbled into the kitchen. Harry grabbed her before she could fall, helping her sit in the chair.
"Drink this," Ron instructed as he placed a cup of water in front of Rose. Instead of drinking it, Rose threw the water on Ron, giggling as he froze.
"Harry, have fun dealing with that. I'm going to bed," Ron said as he grabbed a rag to wipe his face. Harry sighed as Rose started stumbling through the kitchen to find food, randomly grabbing things and tossing them behind her.
"Rose, why'd you get drunk?" Harry asked as he grabbed the knife out of her hand so that she wouldn't accidentally cut herself.
"Cause I wanted to," Rose said with a smile. With a loud gasp, Rose jumped onto Harry and clung onto him like a koala. "I've missed you."
"I miss you too," Harry said as he made Rose sit on the counter. Rose frowned as Harry stepped away and gave her some crackers.
"Why do you hate me?" Rose asked as she ate the crackers.
"I don't," Harry said.
"Then why do you have to get a job where you might die?" Rose asked as tears filled her eyes. "I just want you to be safe."
"I will be safe, Ro," Harry said softly as he soothed her curly hair some. "I'll work part-time, and I'll never be alone."
"I don't want you to die," Rose said quietly, her words slurred. "I see that enough in my dreams, I don't need it to happen in real life."
"Ro, please," Harry said. "You're drunk. Let's have this conversation when you're sober."
"I want to have it now," Rose said as drank the glass of water that Harry handed to her.
"I'm not having this conversation if you're drunk," Harry said firmly. Rose's bottom lip trembled and tears filled her eyes at his tone, causing Harry to sigh. "Rose, please don't cry."
"You hate me," Rose said, tears starting to run down her cheeks.
"I don't hate you," Harry said. "I love you more than you could ever know. Which is why we're going to go upstairs and go to sleep. This conversation can wait."
Rose pouted but wiped her eyes and held her arms out for Harry to carry her, as she was a little dizzy. Harry rolled his eyes but he had a small smile on his face as he carried Rose up the steps. She was clinging to him like a koala, and she didn't let go. Harry sat down on the edge of the bed and encouraged her to lay down, but she grabbed the sides of his face in a kiss. Harry melted into the kiss at first, but he could taste the Firewhiskey on her breath, so he pulled away.
