"I've got that," Harry said, quickly grabbing the suitcase that Rose was pulling. She rolled her eyes as he tripped since he was pulling two suitcases at the same time. They were helping Ron and Hermione load up the car to go to the airport as it was time for them to go find her parents.
"Is that really necessary?" Rose asked as she helped Harry stand.
"Yes," Harry confirmed. "We don't want to hurt the-"
Rose stomped on Harry's foot, sending a look to the Weasley parents who were standing not far away. Harry's eyes watered as he limped to the car, putting the suitcases into the trunk.
"That hurt," Harry whined.
"You poor baby," Rose said as she rolled her eyes at him, but she placed an apologetic kiss on his cheek anyways. He grinned at her, placing a swift kiss on her cheek as his hand rested on her stomach for a second.
"I'm gonna miss you," Mrs. Weasley cried as she pulled Hermione into a tight hug.
"Sure," Ron scoffed. "I'm your son, but hug her first."
Mrs. Weasley glared at Ron as she continued to hug Hermione. Mr. Weasley gave the back of Ron's head a light slap before pulling his son into a hug.
"Please don't get into any trouble," Mr. Weasley requested. "Ooh, and bring me back something fun from the plane and Australia."
"Will do, Mr. Weasley," Hermione said once Mrs. Weasley had released her to attack Ron with a hug.
"You remember what I told you about fixing their memory?" Mr. Weasley asked.
"Yep," Hermione confirmed, repeating the spells that she had to do.
"And you remember the address that Fred and George found?" Mrs. Weasley asked, sounding anxious. Ron repeated the address, his tone bored. Rose knew that the Weasley parents had already made them repeat everything multiple times.
"Be safe," Mrs. Weasley said, giving them both tight hugs before leaning into Mr. Weasley's chest. He repeated his goodbyes before apparating them away, having to go to work.
"Merlin, Mum gets worse every time we have to leave," Ron grumbled, rubbing his ribs.
"Be grateful that she cares," Hermione chastised.
"I am, but my ribs are gonna be bruised," Ron complained. Hermione rolled her eyes and pulled Rose into a hug.
"Write me lots of letters to tell me how the little guy is doing," Hermione ordered.
"It might be a little girl," Rose said, a small smile on her face. Hermione had showed up at their doorstep early the next morning, practically demanding they tell her the results of the test. When they told her that it was positive, she cried for almost a whole hour while Ron stared at Rose's stomach in shock.
"I have a feeling it's a boy," Harry said, wrapping his arms around Rose so his hands were resting on her stomach. After the test came back positive, every negative or worried thought had immediately left his head, leaving him to be excited and happy. They hadn't told anyone except for Hermione and Ron, but Harry would constantly be touching Rose's stomach. She couldn't help but touch her stomach as well, even though it was still completely flat.
"Well it's in my body, and I say that it might be a girl," Rose responded.
"I still can't believe you're having a baby," Ron said. "It's crazy."
"It is," Harry agreed. "But it's a good crazy."
"I call favorite uncle," Ron said.
"You don't get to be favorite uncle and godfather," Rose said. Ron's jaw dropped as he looked at them in shock. Even before they found out they were pregnant they had decided that Ron and Hermione would be godparents to their first child.
