The sky was almost indigo, the clouds covered the horizon as the sun sat. She sat in her car parked in a Dollar General parking lot listening to her music and drinking her energy drinks as the sun went down.
She missed the feeling of watching the sunset with someone else. Her sister always was talking to her friends, and hanging out with her boyfriend.
Faelynn misses her boyfriend who lives an hour away. She misses his voice, smile and the way he hold her close. Sometimes they can be so distant at times. She's to watch the sun set alone most of the time.
When it's almost dark, she heads home in the semi light traffic. This is the time when she's alone and does her mental sorting. This is the time where she mentally prepares for the night and next day ahead.
She freelances; she offers many gigs online and they take up almost a whole work day. She doesn't earn as much now but she has hope that she'll make it as a successful individual. She is a cynical type of person. Many people let her down but she promises one thing; she won't go back on her word.
