Prologue part 2: The day everything changed.

Y/n age 5:

Why did everything change...

It has been five years since my mama left me in the care of of Aunt Summer and Uncle Taiyang. And...I feel forgotten. Ever since I hit 3 years old and my hair and eyes changed my Auntie and Uncle don't even recognize me anymore. Like I don't exist..Momma promise she would come back...but I haven't see her since I was 2. At least Ruby and Yang know I'm still their brother.. Ruby is my little sister she is right now 3 years old, while Yang is my older sister by one year. I used to have bedroom and a place to call home. Now I live nearby the house shed. Ruby and Yang would always get me snacks to eat and water to drink and they got me a blanket and pillow. Yang would read me bed times story and taught me how to read and write.

My sisters they haven't forgotten about me...but it still hurts. Where is Mommy?....She promise she came back...does she not love me...I still trying to be brave. For mommy's sake. Ruby and Yang had put my letter in the mailbox to send to mommy.. I hope they she remembers who I am...

Today it was my birthday, but I felt strange today. I don't know I wake up..My head was on fire...and I could barely get up. I slowly one my eyes to see the world spinning around me.. It feels like I couldn't breathe. I hear footstep running over to me. I look up to see Yang and Ruby giving me sad smile to me with some breakfast which was a Strawberry jelly donut.

Yang and Ruby: "Happy birthday Y/n/ big bwoda."

Y/n: *coughs* "Thanks Yang Ruby.." * I begin to cough a lot* 

Yang: *worried tone* "Are you okay?"

Y/n: *fakes smiles* "I'm okay.." *tries to get up* 

Ruby: "Okay..whanna play?"

Y/n: *struggles* "Okay.."

I eat my breakfast and we soon play a bit. But I couldn't catch up....my legs feel so tired.  I couldn't breathe at this point and I fell over. My head...it feels so hot... Yang and Ruby run over screaming my name, I try opening my eyes.

Yang:*scared* "Ruby go get Mommy and Daddy!! Hurry!!" 

Ruby runs over as fast as her little feet can screaming for Mommy and Daddy.

I was slowly  falling asleep...as I heard a familiar voice screaming over to me.

Quill P.o.V:

I finally had time to visit my little boy, Y/n. It has been 4 years since I see my little boy. I hope he is alright, he must missed me so much. I am currently in my crow form flying down to the Rose/Xiao-Long Residence and I change into my human form. I began to walk to the front of the doorway and I knocked on the door.  I take out my present for my little boy. I hope he likes it.

Summer: *inside houses* "Coming!" *she opens the door and looks over to Quill smiling* "Hello Quill what are you doing here?"

Me: *smiles* "Hey Summer, I came to see Y/n."

Summer: *give a confused look* "Who?" 

I look over to her confused. 

Quill: "You know Y/n, my adopted son...the one I left with you..."

Summer: "Um...are you okay Quill? I know you lost your baby and husband...but you don't need to make up stuff."

I started to get concerned did I make Y/n up, No that can't be right. He was real, there is no way, I know Y/n is real. But before I could anything.

Ruby: *screaming off-screen* "MOMMY, DADDY!!"

I look see Ruby running over to the front of the house. She had a concerned and scared look on their face. Taiyang runs out of the house.

Taiyang: "Ruby what happened where is your-"

Ruby: *looks over to Quill* "Aunt Quill, I-it Y/N!"

I get a terrified look on my face as she guides me to Y/n! I was scared what happened to my little boy. We soon see Yang crying on the ground and a pink haired boy and dirty. I looked around with a confused on my face

Me: "Yang where is Y/n?!"

Yang: *looks up* "Aunt Q-quill...this is Y/n..."

My eyes widen in shock as I got closer I notice the boy's face, The boy was breathing heavily, but his face, this was no mistake...this is Y/n, my son! I pick up my little boy, and touched his forehead. It was so hot and his his clothes were so soaking wet. He weakily opens his eyes and looks at me.

Y/n: *weakly smiles* "M...mama..."

Me: *tears running down his face* "Y/n! It's okay I'm here now!"

Y/n slowly falls unconscious again, I picked up my little boy. I glared at Summer and Taiyang who had a concerned and worried look on their face. I walked past my 'friends' as I walked inside their home. 

(Timeskip)

I set Y/n on Yang's bed after I finished giving him a hot bath and a change of dry clothing. I sat beside my son. Summer and Taiyang...I can't believe them. I heard a knock on the door. I walked to the door way to see Ruby and Yang with worried look on their face.

Yang: "Aunt Quill is Y/n going to be okay?"

I sigh: "I think so....he is right now resting.."

Ruby: "Can we see him..."

I nod and let Ruby and Yang walk up to him, they sit next to him. I can see the look of worry and sadness on their face. 

Me: "Girls.." They look over to me. "Can you tell me, what happened..to Y/n...everything?"

They nod and they told me everything. How it started happy, until Y/n became 3 and his hair color changed from black to Pink and his yellow eyes turn red. To the fact they been trying to take care of their brother/cousin since for some odd reason their parent's slowly forgot abut little Y/n. Needless to say I was livid to the fact. Y/n was treated like this since I was gone. But grateful to Yang and Ruby. They kept their promise to take care of Y/n. I get up. 

Me: "I'm going to a word with your parent's...can you two watch Y/n for me okay?"

The girls nods and I walk out of the room. I walk over to the living room to see Tai and Summer, who looked up with a sad look on their face. They can see my pissed off look on my face.

Me: "How..could you two I trusted you two with my son and you two do this?!"

Summer: "I-I'm sorry Quill!"

Me: "Save it Summer! Tomorrow I'm taking my son back home!" 

Taiyang: "Look Quill, I know we messed up..but-"

Me: *looks at Taiyang* "NO SHIT! I TRUSTED YOU WITH MY SON AND YOU FORGET ALL ABOUT HIM! I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU TWO!" *I begin to walk out of the house to get some fresh air* "Ruby and Yang can see him, but you two can stay the hell away from him!" 

I slam the door behind me, I looked up to the night sky. Tears slowly ran down my face, I fall to my knees. I once again prayed to Oum, hoping my little boy will be okay.

'Y/n...please be okay..'

(Timeskip 3rd P.o.V)

That night as Ruby and Yang, were sleeping close to Y/n, Y/n started to shake like crazy, his panting was heavier. Ruby wakes up as she see her big brother condition getting worse. 

Ruby: *sits and begin shaking Y/n* "Big brwoda!" *she shakes Yang* "Yang, Yang! Wake up!"

Yang slowly got up rubbing her sleepy eyes and yawns. 

Yang: "What's wrong?"

Ruby: "It's big bwoda!"

Yang looks to see Y/n's condition and began to shake Y/n try to wake him up, he looked to be having a nightmare. 

Yang: "Y/n, Y/n wake up!!" Suddenly Y/n started to glow to their shock. Y/n's hair starts changing from pink to Yellow and Y/n's hands starts to turn get scaley and sharp. Y/n slowly opens his red eyes. But when he fully opens his eyes they turn from Red to green.
