!!Time Skips!!
•°•°○●○°•°○●○°•°•Although it was told that Tanjirou would not have much time to live, he had lived much longer than anyone expected, having passed away after all his loved ones and family had moved on into a state of eternal sleep, including me, as well.
My time is about to end, I know, so I decided to write one more page dedicated entirely to the one I loved and will always love most. I hope he'll find this and find the strength to continue living, for the both of us until we reunite again.
Though before I go on to explain the present, I should explain all that had happened leading up to the present.
It wasn't long after we had confessed and had officially become a couple, that we had to prepare for battle against Muzan, who had discovered that Nezuko was able to walk along with us in the sun.
It was a difficult battle. I had fought and killed someone I had looked up to. There isn't a day where I don't wish there was another way. But I hope Kaigaku got the chance to make up with Gramps.
We had won against Muzan, though it was a close battle. Tanjirou had nearly lost his life while many others had died without a single goodbye.
It was difficult on Tanjirou when he woke up to the news. He cried, more than I did and could ever. But he still kept a smile on his face regardless of the pain he felt inside.
He was always like that. Looking after others instead for himself.
He had lost vision in his right eye, and the ability to use his left arm. Which was something he had become a bit insecure about before I quickly showed him that he was still the most beautiful person to ever exist.
As years passed, so did many others. His teacher had passed away and Nezuko as well. They had gotten sick and doctors had no cure for them to get better. So we took in the child Nezuko had and raised them along with the child we had adopted as though they were a child of our own.
That is, before they too left our lives to start their own. Now all grown up without the need of assistance from their uncles/fathers.
And now, my time has come.
My sweet Tanjirou. The man who some how managed to look as young as he did when we were both 18 while being as old as a, well, old man. The man who stole my heart and became my first in everything.
I wish we could have more time, but I guess it isn't written in the stars. So I'll leave this letter to you.
I hope we'll meet in another life. A life without so much death and sorrow. A life without judgement. And life with freedom.
