6 • Going Out

The day was thriving. Breakfast was over. Everyone was happy. Their day had just begun.

"So! Everyone! What is the plan?!" Mina shouts excitedly.

"Probably just listen to music with Momo. Maybe go to the park and stare at clouds. Who knows." Jirou said blankly, Momo blushing beside her.

"I think I'll just sit in my room and make bird noises." Tokoyami said.

"I'm gonna go take dunce face to the shops so he can look at clothes." Bakugo growled, his cheeks trying to hide the blush forming on them. "Idiot.."

The class went on their way, doing their chosen activities. All that was left, was Kirishima and Mina, who were left in an awkward silence.

"So.. umm.. wanna head uptown or something?" Kiri asked nervously.

"Yes! I mean.. yeah sure." Mina replied enthusiastically. "Shall we?"

The two hopped up, and once they were ready, they met at the front.

The pair walked through the streets, hand in hand, a kind silence between them. Mina held a soft smile, while Kirishima tried to find something for them to do.

After a few minutes passed, he finally decided to speak.

"Hey, so, is this like a date, or?"

Mina immediately blushed. "Y-yeah, I guess so. I mean, if that's what you had in mind, like, this being a date and all."

"That's exactly what I had in mind." He joked. "Should we go get lunch? I know a spot."

"Sure thing!" She shouted excitedly.

The two young lovers made their way to a fancy, yet small, little place along a park side. It was an open space all rounder. A taste of the world.

"How's this?" Kiri asked.

"Perfect!" Mina shrieked. "Let's go in!"

They found a seat, and were attended to almost immediately.

"How can I help you two today? Maybe some water or soft drink while you choose your meals?" The young man asked.

"A water for me please." Kirishima said.

"Lemonade for me." Mina added.

He nodded, before walking to the kitchen. He seemed lovely.

Mina seemed very comfortable around him, almost like she knew him. Meanwhile, Kirishima had a sick feeling in his gut.

"Hey, Mina?" Kiri asked. "Do you two know each other?

"Who? Me and the waiter? Nope! Never met him before. But he seems nice."

"Yeah. Okay cool." He smiled.

He's never been jealous like this. Relationships weren't exactly his strong suit, but he thought he was gonna handle things better.

"Here is your water, and your lemonade. Call me over whenever you're ready." The waiter said.

"Thank you very much!" Mina said.
