I know some of you might skip this part but I can't stress this enough please read:

Trigger Warning: mentions of suicide, self-harm, depression, panic and anxiety attacks, substance abuse, post-traumatic stress disorder, eating disorder, self-destructive behaviour, sexual abuse, rape, violence, strong language.

All sexual scenes in this story are non-consensual. They are not between the main characters and they are not described in detail, but some people have their limits (which is completely okay) so this needs to be told.

At everyone who found this story from the queer or LGBTQ tag: if you are reading this hoping to get a cute love story between two LGBTQ characters then just go ahead and check out my other works like Waiting For You or The Little Things or go to a different author. This is not a romance story. This is a story about trauma and mental health and healing.

This story is placed in the UK and more specifically in London. The characters are British so before writing this story I decided on writing it using British English, which means some words are spelt differently and some British slang is included -very minimal-. That being said, I ain't a robot. I make mistakes. If you feel like I've made a typo or generally a mistake do point it out. All feedback is appreciated.

If you know me from my previous stories, then you might also know that I generally see and reply to comments. That won't change in this story. I will continue reading your reactions and thoughts as this story goes on -and I do hope you comment as all comments make me really happy-. But considering the content of this story, I am asking you to be extremely considerate of everyone -including the characters- as I don't want anyone to get offended or hurt.

While I'm on the topic of the content, I want to point out that I have read through the Content Guidelines of Wattpad and I have done my best to follow them while writing this story. If at some point you feel like it goes over them, please point it out to me and I will look into it and fix it.

Within this story, you will find quotes from some online creators. In each chapter that includes such quotes, I will give credit to the creator at the end of the chapter and if the quote originated from a video I will link that video so you can see it.

There will be a new chapter every Saturday, and in some particularly "rough" weeks there will be another upload within the week.

An external link to the International Association for Suicide Prevention is included in this part of the story. It will direct you to a page where you can find Crisis Centres all over the world. There's nothing wrong or shameful with admitting you need help. Please reach out to someone. [From what I can tell this is not available for IOS or Android users, but it can be found on the Web app. But even if you cannot find this link please reach out to someone. Suicide is not a solution.]
