Chapter 1

???: Man this sucks!

A girl says as she kicks a railing that is on the rooftop, while there was a boy beside her. He sighs as he looks at the girl.

??? 2: Well who's fault is it to get the both of us suspended? Even I have to be dragged down with you.

The boy said as he leans back and sighs. The girl pouts at him as she continues to raise her voice a bit.

???: C'mon, Y/n! I killed one of the four horsemen of the apocalypse and they put me in suspension!

The male sighs as he flicks her forehead as the girl holds it and crouch down in pain.

Y/n: Yui. First of all, don't be loud when you are beside me. Second, you were given direct orders to stay down and not kill that thing and last off all, I have to get drag down with you.

Y/n said as he sighs and looks at Yui.

Y/n: To top it all off, you went ahead and almost suspend us from school. You are a pain in the butt.

Y/n said as Yui got back up and looks at Y/n with determination in her eyes.

Yui: I need to kill all the vanpires! I just gotta! Because-

Y/n puts a hand on Yui's shoulder and when she looks at him, he has tears crying to be let out but Y/n sighs and he wipes away the tears.

Y/n: I know how you feel. And trust me, I want to do the same but I can't do it unless I get stronger.

Yui: But how? That Shinoa girl said that our suspension will continue if we don't make a friend. Honestly, what do they see you as? Chop off liver?

Y/n chuckles at Yui for defending him while he pats her head. Yui blushes but Y/n didn't notice since her face wasn't directly looking at him.

Y/n: Let's just calm down first. I am sure Guren has a reason for that.

Yui: Grr! Guren is dumb! He promises us power and all we got is school!

Y/n sighs as he rubs his forehead. He pulled out a piece of paper as he hands it to Yui.

Yui: Whats that?

Y/n: Guren's letter to you. Just you. *Mumbles* Which makes me question why I have to get stuck with you.

Yui: Oh so does remember! Let me see!

Yui said as she snatches the note and ignores the slightly audible words Y/n said. Yui read the note and it reads as follows:

"We don't need a cherry girl who can't make a friend in our army. If you think this is annoying, make one and introduce him/her to me. Of course, I'm sure that's impossible for you.

P.S: Y/n does not count."

Yui crumpled up the paper and threw it off a building

Y/n: Oh yeah, Hiragi gave that to me. Turns out she is quite a nice girl.

Yui looks at Y/n as he is unaware that she is jealous. Y/n notices the look she is giving.

Y/n: What? You jealous?

Yui: O-Of course not!

She said as she grabs her bag and storms off. Y/n sighs as he looks at his watch and continues to wait for a bit longer. After a few minutes, Y/n started talking.

Y/n: Why am I suspended with her? I did nothing wrong and I was also following orders.

Y/n said as he turns around and faces Guren as he was behind him. Guren smirk as he walks over and rubs Y/n's head, ruffling his hair a bit.

Guren: Because if I don't. She won't be as much cooperative as she is being right now.

Y/n: But she isn't being cooperative.

Guren: Yeah but its still better safe than sorry. She can be a real headache sometimes.

Y/n: Oh c'mon. She isn't that bad.

Y/n said Guren taps his shoulder and he turns around to see Yui with Shinoa. Shinoa looks around and her eyes landed on both Guren and Y/n, as she winks at Y/n.

Guren: Your quite popular with the ladies. Even the girls in my squad have fallen for you

Y/n: Oh quit joking.

He says as he watches Yui protect a boy from three bullies.

(Note: Instead of inside. Its handled outside so Y/n could watch from a far)

Y/n watches as Yui got punched in the face as he made an "Oof" sound. Y/n looks at Guren.

Y/n: Let me guess. Violence is part of the violation code for the imperial demon army.

Guren: You are right. *Sigh* When will the girl understand.

Y/n shrugs as he watches both Yui and the noy went outside to presumably to some errands for the three bullies. Shinoa follows along with but in the short time, Y/n got to know her, he knew she wasn't going to help them. After a few chats, then they parted ways as Y/n sighs and decided to help them.

Light: That will be it for now. What? Its short? Well sorry but I promise to make it up for the next chapter.
