"Hospital?" The girl breathed out softly, the news barely sinking in, "Unnie's in the hospital?" Something about the news made Chaeyoung into a kid again, it was like her brain couldn't comprehend what she was just told.

"I'm afraid so, love," Jisoo replies in a motherly tone, rubbing circles on the younger's hand as they make their way to the hotel room. Hotel rooms are always where they stay now. A new room every two days and if the group was lucky 3. Hearing confirmation, all the warmth around Chaeyoung just disappeared and was replaced by hollow coldness. Why did it have to be Alice? Her sweet and loving sister who was always there for her.

"Chaeyoung-ie we're cheering for you!"

"Yah! Be careful, don't climb that tree!"

"Smile alright? Or else this place will become so dull without it."

"Don't worry Roseanne, I'll protect you. Promise."

In a blink of an eye, the 4 girls were already inside their room and Jisoo leads Chaeyoung to the bed making sure to get the blonde to sit. Lisa and Jennie were still talking to Mrs. Park for further details on Alice and that left Jisoo to help Chaeyoung. Of course, the older would never hesitate when they were distracted, but looking at Chaeyoung she wanted to cry. Not because she made the raven-haired girl sad, but because the angel looked so empty. Gone was the bright and sunny smile, the sparks in her eyes were gone, and the air around her felt different.

"Chaeyoung-ah, we're going to have to get you into more comfortable clothes, alright?" Jisoo asks ever so softly as if the slightest noise would break the blonde. Instead of audible response, Jisoo gets a small nod, although Chaeyoung's eyes were still staring off into the distance. Patting Chaeyoung's knee Jisoo reluctantly removes herself from the girl's side and searches for their suitcases to find suitable clothes. Chaeyoung wasn't completely gone from the world, she could still overhear the conversation going between Lisa, Jennie, and her mom.

"So Alice-unnie got into a car accident," Lisa's voice slowly questions from the closed door. After the question, an inaudible faint voice followed and Chaeyoung assumed it was her mom.

"This so unfortunate Mrs. Park, we are so sorry. I'm afraid we won't be coming to Korea for another month I believe." That was Jennie's voice this time. Another month, maybe even longer. How was Chaeyoung going to go that long without seeing her newly injured sister? She doesn't even know how severe her condition is. Chaeyoung could feel pain making its way towards the back of her head, warning that a massive headache was approaching because too many thoughts were occupying her mind. Mandarin. The songs. Tour. Alice. Everything was getting way too big for her to handle. Luckily, she thinks to herself, I have my members. Someway and somehow the girl was able to find a positive despite the fact that it seemed that everything was going downhill for her. It really did seem that the world was against her at the moment. From her injury to Alice's accident, but the one constant in her life and stability was her members who always took care of her and even now are looking out for her. Chaeyoung wasn't selfish, far from it. She knows that her members were dealing with their own hardships and really is thankful for the fact that they always make time for her. It would be so easy just to leave the blonde to fend for herself, but the girls weren't like that. In her eyes they were the most giving and selfless people she knew and hopefully after the years eventually pass her view of them would stay the same. Well if she even lives that long, she thinks and slightly grimaces at the thought. The warm hand that found itself on her cheek snapped her out of the dark thoughts that were taking over.

"Here I got the pajamas you packed, I hope they're okay," Jisoo says while setting the clothes on the bed. Despite knowing she should get up, Chaeyoung couldn't find the strength to move. You really have to make this harder, don't you? The voice inside her head scolded. "It's okay, I'll help you. Arms up." Jisoo says as she helps the younger slip out of the hoodie. Before taking off the blonde's white shirt she closes her eyes knowing the girl would get shy. Blindly, reaching for the new oversized shirt, her hand meets its soft fabric and slips it over Chaeyoung. The realization hit Chaeyoung hard as she finally takes in what's happening. God you're 23, get yourself together you can change yourself, dammit.
