POV Anna
Ag leaves today. I cant believe my best friend, my girlfriend she's leaving. Gone. In an instant. Once Ag finished packing we put her stuff in my car and I drove her to the airport. I cried holding her hand the entire way there. It was about an hour drive to the airport. I got a text on my phone and picked it up to see who it was. It was a notification from the News.
"Due to the massive increase in COVID-19 cases in Michigan, All airports will be cancelling all flights to, North Carolina, South Carolina, Ohio, New Hampshire, Florida, Louisiana, and Kentucky."
"What did it say?" Ag said
Anna kept her mouth closed.
"Just a snap from my friends." Anna said.
"Wanna stop at sonic before your flight?" Anna said.
"Sure." Ag said.
I kept my mouth shut. I wanted to keep this a surprise. I pulled over to Sonic. We ordered our drinks. And pulled into a parking spot.
"I'm gonna miss you Bub." Ag said.
"I'm not." Anna said.
"I'm sorry what?" Ag said.
"Because you're staying!!" Anna said.
"Stop. Stop playing with me." Ag said.
"I'm not joking! They cancelled all flights from Michigan to Kentucky because of the increase in COVID cases!!" Anna said loudly.
"OMG OMG." Ag said.
Ag gave Anna a kiss on the lips. Anna got a call from her mom.
"Hey Honey, Did you hear about the flights being cancelled?" Ms. Shumate said on the phone.
"I HEARD! Does that mean Ag can stay with us?" Anna said.
"Yes of course! I just got off the phone with her mom. She said it's ok." Ms. Shumate said.
"Thank you Mom!!! I love you! On our way home now!" Anna said.
"Ok! Love you! Drive safe!" Ms. Shumate said.
Anna hung up the phone.
"So much is happening so fast!!!" Ag said.
"What do you say we stop at chick fil a and go home and watch some netflix and cuddle?" Ag said.
"YESSSSS!" Anna said.
Anna and Ag drove off to get chick fil a. Once they got home they got into their Pj's and watched some tv.
"Give me a kiss." Ag said.
Anna kissed Ag.
POV AG
Annas head was tucked between my neck and my shoulder. I looked at her right in the eyes. I could see the love in her eyes that she had for me. I couldn't have asked for a better girl in my life.
