And If Your Heart Stops Beating

Every clock is stuck pointing to two in the morning. It's quite odd to be honest. He hears the heavy rain, just like on that horrific night. The soft hum of the car, the gentle breathing of four people, three of them sleeping practically on top of each other. Never again. The car hydroplaning, a loud screech and a gnarly crunch that lasts longer than it should. And then silence. Deafening silence. Except for the rain. That is the last thing the three of them hear. He's gone. Heavy rain. Rain. Rain.

Gerard wakes up in a cold sweat. He hears the rain. Then a knock on his door. He can't remember.

He gets up and stops dead in his tracks. Today is the same as two days ago, but Gerard doesn't know that yet. He stops in the middle of the hallway, looks at the clock, feels an odd sense of deja vu. Mikey's door is open. The crying. Climbing out the window. He's not there. A tap on his shoulder. Nothing. Gerard wakes up again but this time it's light out, and he feels the bandage on his face fall off. Coffee. Sitting on the stairs. Looks up to the balcony, but he's not there. Frank standing directly in front of him this time. Fading to black. Almost forgotten.

(gee's pov)

His hands are still underneath my shirt when I wake up. I look up and Frank is still sleeping peacefully. I try to shake off the weird feeling but it seriously won't go away. Mikey isn't telling me something, but he cannot, because it will kill you. I sit up. "What the fuck, I'm going insane."

Frank starts to stir and eventually sits up. "What time is it?" he asks. "Uhh I don't know, let me go check" I reply. I stand up and stretch my limbs then proceed to the door. As I walk towards the clock in the upstairs living room, I realize it's quite dark out. The rain. The clock ticking. Mikey crying. I look at the clock and it reads one in the morning. All of a sudden I'm on the ground. "Mikey what the fuck, dude, what are you doing?" Is Mikey giggling? That little shit.

Too bad he didn't realize frank was standing in front of his bedroom door, only an hour before it happened. Shhhhhh. You won't know until the moment of horror that chills your spine.

I get up leaving Mikey on the floor. I notice Frank standing there and I blush. "It's one a.m. by the way." I say.

"oh shit I have to go, sorry" he says. "Okay, well, see you later Frank." Frank blushes and gives me a sweet smile and a warm hug. He then goes down the stairs and out the door. "Mikey why are you still awake?" I ask sternly.

"I can't stop thinking about it. Also you sound like mom. And before you can ask, no I can't tell you. Soooo, goodnight bro!" he says quickly and then bolts to his room and slams the door.
