The wind buffeted Parrotflight's face as he helped his mate over the rise, in awe of how easily Featherfoot was making it up the slope despite his crippled leg. Th essentially three-legged cat was already padding down the other side, while Glowingstar was just behind the two at the top, insisting that he was fine, and didn't need help. Windclan cats milled about in the distance, in what he could only imagine was their camp - a small hollow surrounded by heather, with tightly-woven dens clustered around the edge and a large dead tree on the highest point of the hill. That must be their equivalent of our Highledge. He mused as Robinfur stood up again, signaling that they could move on again. As they neared the camp, Featherfoot called them to a halt, and Windclan's warriors surrounded them, hissing in anger at the Thunderclan cats.
"That's enough!" yowled Calicostar, her tortoiseshell-and-white pelt rippling in the breeze. "You all should be ashamed of yourselves. Robinfur is hurt, you should be helping him."
"Thank you, Calicostar. Feel free to gather your deputy and other medicine cat, We need to discuss important Clan matters. In private." Glowingstar mewed politely, his husky voice silencing even more of the hostile warriors. The small group of cats gathered in Calicostar's den, crammed in so that Robinfur was leaning against Parrotflight, who was tucked in between Featherfoot and Glowingstar, who were all at the entrance to the den, though just inside. Calicostar, Pebblesmoke (The other Windclan Medicine cat), and Spotwing (The Windclan deputy) were on the other side of the small cave, still very confused as to why the four toms were there in the first place.
"Now... What was it you wanted to tell me, Glowingstar?" Calicostar queried, breaking the awkward silence.
"Our medicine cat, Robinfur, has received some news from Starclan. Robinfur?" The tabby tom suggested, leaving Robinfur to answer. Parrotflight only hoped Windclan would assist them, The Clans had been allies for quite some time, anyways.
"Shadowclan and Riverclan are planning on driving us out. Starclan said that the attack would be occurring when there is no moon in the sky, and the forest is silent." When Robinfur finished, The den was silent once more, the Leader of Windclan clearly weighing out her options.
"So.. What you're saying is that, Just how Skyclan was attacked and driven out, you too could be pushed away from the lake?"
"That is exactly what he is saying, yes, Calicostar." Parrotflight chimed in, "We have reasons to believe that Windclan might be next if the attack is successful, which it will be if we are not prepared." Calicostar's face twisted with worry at that statement. If only I could understand what she's thinking... Maybe I could be of help...? No. The proud and noble Windclan wouldn't ask us for help. But right now, we really need it...
