Safe and Sound

Chapter 1

Hajime's P.O.V

It was a normal day for me today, or so I thought.

My alarm clock had gone off and woke me up from my sleep, that I so dearly loved, and I quickly rolled over to turn it off, but when I rolled over I rolled a little to quickly and caused me to roll on the floor bumping my head. I sat up holding my head and turned off the annoying ass clock that woke me up and grabbed my uniform from my closet and went to go take a shower and all that shit.

After I was done with my morning routine I looked at my clock to see what time it was and how long I had left. As soon as I did "WELL SHIT I HAVE 10 MINUTES!" But the worst part was that my house was 20 minutes from the school, so i could either run and have to catch my breath for most of the class, or I can walk, be late, and probably get detention. I didnt want to go through detention again so I decided on running.

When I got to class huffing and trying to catch my breath, I was greeted by my best friend, Kazuichi Soda. He looked pretty normal besides his abnormal pointy teeth and bright ass pink hair. He looked at me and said "DUDE, what took you so long, class is almost starting anddd we are getting a new student." I answered his question with a "I over slept, and when did you know about the new student, I was never notified till now." He just shrugged and Ms. Yukizome started to walk in so me and Soda walked back to our seats. She looked at all of us and greeted us saying "Good morning you moldy oranges, today we have a new student." She then motioned to the door and a kid with a dark green jacket came in, with the hood on. After she whispered something into his ear, he took down his hood.

I was greeted with seeing a very pale skinny boy, he had gray-green eyes that seemed to stand out along with his hair. His hair I found the most interesting. It was white with pale red tips and it looked fluffy, like a cloud almost. He slowly looked up and said "H-hi, I'm Nagito K-Komaeda." Ms. Yukizome looked at him thoughtfully and told him to sit next to me. I raised my hand so he could see me and he started to walk over.

As he got closer I could see how his gaze shifted around the room like he was waiting for someone to attack him. When he got to his seat next to me I looked up and him and gave him a smile and said "Hi I'm Hajime Hinata." I heard him mutter my name under his breath for a minute before he looked back up at me with wide eyes and said the most shocking thing I heard all day. "Hinata-Kun." I was shocked, yes you hear that alot especially since I'm a little popular in this school, but the way he said it made me feeling something. I looked at him for a moment and said "Ko-" He looked back at me and had tears in his eyes.

♡~ Flashback ~♡

As a kid I was very fond of the Cherry Blossom trees we had growing in the park next to my house so I would go there and sit under one of them everyday, but this day was a very special day for me.

I had sat down under the tree and let the smell of the flowers and the breeze calm me down from the day I had. I closed my eyes and fell asleep for a little and woke up to see a boy with white hair and pale red tips looking down at me smiling.

"Hi, I'm Nagito Komaeda, what's your name!" He was very cheerful as I could tell and answered. "I'm Hajime Hinata, nice to meet you!" And smiled back at him. He asked if he could sit next to me and so I moved over a little bit and let him sit next me. We talked for a while before he pointed something out "You have a Petal on your hair!" He then started to giggle a little bit. I reached my hand up to grab the petal when I noticed- "Hey, Nagito, your have a flower on you hair." He looked at me and then reached his hand into his hair and grabbed a light pink flower off of his head.
