It was early in the morning when Ava woke up. No else was up yet, but that wasn't new. While she was waiting for the others to get up, she thought about all that had happened. Everything was so different yet similar here. It was like her world, just with some people who were magical. Ava never said anything but ever since they got to Daemos she had felt different. Even now she felt it. As she was thinking about what it could mean she heard a yawn from the other side of the room.

"Morning Ava," Loreli said in a sleepy tone.

"Hi Lore, I was about to go outside for a bit. Wanna join me?" Ava said, standing up. Loreli jumped up and walked over to her.

"Sure! It is kinda hot in here,"

The two of them went and sat on the stairs leading up to the house.

"These people have been through a lot. It might be even crazier than what we've been through," Loreli said leaning against Ava. (bff"s for life!)

"Ya, I want to meet this Aphmau person. She seems like someone who can help us," Ava said watching the sun as it slowly rose. Loreli grinned and sat up.

"We are idiots aren't we? Like what normal person would walk through a mysterious portal they found in the middle of the woods,"

"Rhys," Ava answered without a beat.

"Rhys is the only sane person in our group, and he walked though too. Although that is probably so he can babysit us and make sure we don't kill ourselves," Ava grinned and looked at Loreli.

"Alright let me rephrase that. What normal person, without a bunch of idiot friends to babysit would walk through a portal in the middle of a forest,"

"Yup we sure are idiots," Ava said, just as they heard talking inside. The day had begun, and they had a lot of things to do. 

surprise guys, I'm still alive! i haven't died yet. sorry for not updating for a while. i have been working (yes ik, during the summer. it sucks.) i am going to try to update a littl ebit more frequently now that I have more time. also, sorry that this chapter is so short, its just a little chapter for me to get back into things. i promise the chapters will be longer in the future. goodbye Lollies! (yes I did just make that up, don't judge me)
