Lucinda came up to Ava, her eyes bright with excitement.

"Can you really bring my magic back?" she said, with a pleading look. Ava glanced at Rhys who nodded. Ava grinned, and stepped back as Rhys came forward.

"Hold out your hand," he commanded in a steady voice. She did as he said and he placed his hand on hers. Looking into her eyes, he slowly lifted up his hand.

"It might not kick in right away, but that should do it," he turned towards Ava who smiled.

"Thank you so much! I know what supplies I need to create the portal, but it might take a few days to get them all. I hope that's ok with you," Lucinda said, as she looked through a book that she had been looking through with Aphmau.

"That's good with us," Ava replied right before Asch came back in with Loreli and Pierce.

"If you are wondering where the other 2 are, I have no f-king idea," he sighed.

"I just want to go to sleep,"

Ava nodded.

"They might be back at Laurence's house. That is where we told them to meet us,"

Garroth stood up.

"I need to head back now, you guys can do whatever you need to do," he said, helping Laurence to his feet.

"I want to explore this world, how about you guys?" Ava said looking at her friends. Asch nodded in agreement.

"That sounds satisfactory," Rhys said. Even though he was the saner one, he wanted to learn new things about this strange world.

"We explored a lot already, so we should probably head back to find the others and calm down," Loreli chirped.

After sorting things out, the trio headed out into the world unknown to them. For the most part, Ava realised, it was just like her own universe. Everything that Rhys had said made sense. There was a connection between everything going on. They just needed to figure out what it was.
