About 10 minutes later everything had quieted down. Lucinda and Aphmau were discussing the materials and supplies that they would need, and Ava had sent Asch to find the others who were probably lost. With everything under control it gave Rhys a chance to talk to Ava about his thoughts.
"So what's up? It's nothing too serious right?" Ava would be lying if she said that she wasn't worried. There were so many things going on, that at this point she would be surprised if it wasn't important.
"You know that we came to your world to get a magic source right?" he asked her. Ava nodded in response, wondering what he was getting at.
"Your world has no magic in it, but this world does. It's like a parallel universe," he paused looking at her in the eyes. Ava slowly nodded, taking in what he just said.
"Aphmau looks like you, the Travis guy is like Leif, and from what we've heard, Aaron is a lot like Pierce. There must be some sort of connection," he was quiet for a moment, and then continued.
"What if this was the original Earth we were meant to go to? What if Lady Grandma had made some sort of mistake and we ended up in the wrong world? What if everything is all connected and it means something bigger?"
Rhys stopped and was quiet. Ava let the thought process through her head. The more she thought about it, the more sense it made.
"But what does it all mean? Is Daemos part of this as well?" Ava whispered. Tons of questions filled her head, as she realized that there had to be something bigger going on.
"You know Ava, I used to not believe in fate or destiny, but now I'm rethinking that. Lady Grandma is the smartest person I know. There is not a very large chance for her to make a mistake or mess something up. Either she knew that she sent us to the wrong place, or there was a greater source taking us to you," he smiled, and looked out the window.
"I know we might not be the best at showing emotions, we are still learning, but meeting you was the best thing that has ever happened to us. So thank you Ava. Thank you for changing our lives,"
wow, that was cringe af. I'm really sorry for putting you guys through that, but i did try my hardest so, sorry for that.
