Ava instantly perked up.
"So all we need now is to get Lucinda's magic back and heal Aaron. That's his name right?" she asked Aphmau, who nodded back in reply.
"Are you sure you can bring her magic back? It won't tire you too much?" Ava asked Rhys, who was quiet for a moment.
"I'll be fine, I just won't be able to use magic for a while, but that's fine, as we won't be in Daemos," He said quietly. Rhys failed to notice Ein's sad look, as he was too busy thinking over the plan. Ava on the other hand noticed, and felt guilty that they were going to leave him behind.
"How about Lucinda makes the portal here, so no one else will see it," Rhys said, looking over to Ava for her approval.
"Good idea. How about me and Asch deal with the Aaron situation. We'll go get Noi and figure that out," Ava added. Rhys sighed and looked at her with an "I know what you're doing' look.
"What?" Ava asked legitimately confused. She didn't say anything weird, right?
"You can just say that you want some time alone with your boyfriend you know," Rhys grinned and turned back to Aphmau.
"Do you think you can ask Ms. Lucinda to come here, so I can give her magic back?" Rhys asked Aph quietly, ignoring Asch's eyes staring into his soul. Aph grinned at his comment.
"Of course," she replied, immediately doing so. Ava sighed and looked back at Rhys again.
"Was that really necessary? You know what, I don't even care. Com'on Asch let's go get Noi," She grinned and grabbed his hand, pulling him out of the cave.
"I'm going to go meet Lucinda, I don't think she knows where this cave is," Aph said, and stood up heading after the other two. Rhys sat back down next Ein who hadn't said a word the whole time.
"Are you ok?" Rhys asked the other. He could feel that something was not right.
"Mhm, just tired," Ein said looking away. This confused Rhys, and he stayed silent for a moment. Then it clicked. How could he be so stupid? Ein figured that they were just gonna leave him here to fend for himself. Rhys knew that he couldn't do that, he had some sort of soft spot for him. But what could they do?
