"You want me?" I ask.
Why would she want me, what could I help her with.
"Oui, I am quite lonely in this house all the time, I would adore to have somebody here with me"
"Mme I'm flattered but I really must go find my girlfriend"
"Oo a girlfriend"
"Yes, that's why we need your help, we need you to help us find her"
"I can not unless you chose to stay"
"But Mme"
"No buts, make your decision Little Daylighter"
I turn to look at Magnus.
"Why should I do?" I ask "I need to go get Isabelle back"
"I have an idea, just go along with it" Magnus says
We walk down the long corridor where Felicity had walked a few moments prior, we came to a large set of French doors, Magnus walked inside and I followed suit.
"Mme DesMoines, we shall stay, both of us"
"Very well" Felicity says with a devilish grin.
She preceded to lead us to a room in the upstairs level of the cathedral. As soon as we were alone I turned to Magnus, confusion washed over me.
"What the hell was that!?" I ask "I need to get Isabelle, I need to see her and make sure she's okay, I need to find her"
"Relax Young Daylighter, I have a plan, we must wait a few hours till Mme DesMoines gets her rest, but as soon as she finds slumber, we will go figure out the location of Isabelle"
"How do you know it will work?" I ask.
"I don't"
I laid down on the bed and stared at the ceiling, what would Isabelle say when I found her? I had hurt her, she would probably just tell me to get lost, or maybe she would be too heavily compelled that she wouldn't know who I was. I couldn't imagine not being able to touch her, to kiss her, to call her mine. A world without Isabelle was was not worth living at all, I needed to make this right.
Once 3 am struck we went downstairs, we needed to find something that could help us figure out what to do, we found a large room, there was a large glass ball in the middle of it.
"That looks promising" says Magnus, rapping on the glass.
As his thin fingers tapped the glass, a bright blue light shone from the ball.
"Woah" I said.
When the blue light diminished inside the glass ball was a picture of us and next to it was a map showing our location.
"Simon, hand me something of Isabelle's"Magnus said, his hand reaching towards me.
I handed him an earring that she had worn the night she came over, the night before I hit her. Magnus tapped the earring on the tough glass and once again the blue light shone. A few moments later a photo of Isabelle showed up. She was tied to a chair, screaming for help, the map to the right of the image showed her exact location, Los Angeles.
