Chapter Twenty-Five: A Cloud City

This place is Amazing!

     As we entered the gates a huge mob of pixies came greeting us! Looks like aunt Eleanora explained to them that we're going to stay for a while.

     Izzy ran off looking for her parents! It has been a very long while since they reunited.

     Aunt Eleanora and uncle Charles settled down with the pixie commander Mr. Joshua and started planning for our next journey.

     Hhhh, Asher and Xailock had their own plans worked out already. Sneak attack is their Favorite game and these clouds are perfect for an attack. No one can see you coming!

     As for Leo and I, we ran off into the small town nearby. I remember this place crystal clear! It haven't changed at all.

     The tiny coffee shops, fruity lands, a few old libraries, and the small houses branching over our heads like chandeliers!

     Though this place is above the clouds, it has a lot of rivers and lakes other than the gardens and flowery bushes that are roaming the area! For a cloud city this place almost looks like a floating land.

     We kept running around exploring like children at a water park! I can't help it. I Love This Place!! Eventually, we reached a long towering fountain. The heart of Pixie Hallow. This place is called The Diamond.

     It has been said that this water is the most clean and refreshing of all since it flows from an actual diamond centered at the top of the fountain. Shimmering in a bright glow lighting up the entire cloud city!

"Here try it!" I offered Leo to try out the water. He looked at me questioning as we settled at the edge of the fountain, "You sure this is safe?"

      I tried it out so he would believe that it's actual water. He took a small sip and his smile lit up, "It tastes.. refreshing!" yup, he likes it!

"Hhh, hey! That's my favorite song!" A small group of musicians near the coffee shop started playing a hardcore beat jerking me up strait for a dance!

"Princes Averen! Welcome back!" a member of the group called out for me.

"Nathaniel!! Is that you!?" no way! He looks way older now.

"Sure is! Wanna dance princes?" He came up to me and we grabbed Leo to join us too!

     Laurence tried to escape using the old excuse 'But I can't dance..' yeah sure.

Hhhh, sorry buddy not on my watch.

"Hhh, it's not a waltz you silly. It's easy just Jump as high as possible and spin like crazy till you feel your head is numb!" It's a weird crazy pixie dance where they swerl all around. I know, but believe me this is the best way to have fun!

     Back at main gates, aunt Eleanora and uncle Charles had worked out their plans with Mr. Joshua and strolled their way down town.

"What in the world..? Is that Laurence!?" Charles asked Eleanora trying to tolerate the fact that his son is jumping like a maniac.

"Hhhh, told you they were bonded!" Eleanora pointed a finger at him. Her smile bright as a sunflower.

"Hey! I was the one who said so."

"Yeah. Yeah.. what ever you say, but I figured it out first!"

     Charles tried to submerge the urge to meddle with her nerves. It's like they were never apart for nine years! They still argue like they used to Every Day..

     Izzy came out of no where and flew strait into Eleanora's fur coat!

"Master! Any updates!?" That was quick. She supposed to spend her time with her family. I suppose duties come first for pixies.

"Well the updates are with Eleanora not me. She's the one who escaped from them." He explained to Izzy, "So tell me, how is Snowflake doing? Did you manage to see her Eleanora?"

     She kept silent for a while staring at Averen, "She needs her. More than anything!"

"Tell me about it. Averen had already tried to commit suicide yesterday. Surprisingly she's acting normal now, or even better." Izzy huffed from between the fur.

     Eleanora gazed raggedly at the king, "WHAT!?"

"Hey don't look at me! You've seen her mark by now. It's almost stretched out all over her back!" Charles tried to defend himself from the mad woman.

     They both understand what happens when a sorceress is prevented from it's creature. More over belittled for the use of it's magic. One moment the sorceress is normal the other they'd try kill them selves.

     Creatures were meant to stay close to their masters all the time. Their part of the owner, without them there is no point in living. Subconsciously they'd try and kill them selves. That same creature consists a part of the master's soul.

"She's growing stronger. Faster than we planned out!"

A loud shriek alarmed us awake!

"That's not reassuring.." Charles declared.

     Back at the small dance every body froze. Fear taking over all their once delighted happy expressions.

"Averen what's wrong!? Hey, can you hear me?" Leo kept talking and asking a bunsh of questions, but I was no longer listtening.

My heart.. It hurts!
It feels so hard to breath.
To even speak!

The shriek came louder again.

"Snow.. Flake..!"
