*Next morning.
"Ughh.. You Are Impossible, Averen!!"
"And You Are Annoying, Leo!!"
Oh Great.
This is gonna be one hell of a morning.
Now that my wings are freely fluttering, Laurence decided to teach me 101 turning techniques for my first flights. I found it difficult to retract them. This result was expected since they were kept in my back for too long and grew there eventually causing physical hurt. Therefore my ability to hide my wings again might take a while. Till I am used on having them shown, my back would have already repaired it self ready to secure their safety.
Over the loud racket we're causing a tinny voice squealed catching our attention,
"Heey..! Can't someone get a piece of quiet?! I am tryin' to sleep over hear!!" Izzy lifted her head grumbling at us half asleep!
Up from the edge, I bounced heading to the flower she slept in last night. "Morning little pixie! Sorry about that. You know how grumpy he gets." I snorted cheerfully at the obviously pissed man over my shoulder.
"Well excuse me for trying to teach you how to fly properly instead of flapping around and smacking me in the face! I'm starting to get the feeling you're hitting me on purpose little missy!" Leo came barging furiously.
"Will you PLEASE let me get some sleep!! Pixies are very fragile creatures you know! We need our rest!"
Huh, she really does need a nap!
Izabella may be tiny, but she's powerful. Make her mad and she'll lose it!
Her cute angry baby face wasn't helpping. Surpressing giggles was not an option. Trying to sooth her calm seems as a safer option, "Hhh, come here you silly. That flower ain't stable enough to sleep in."
Untying the red ribbon that used to hold my hair up then roll the fabric neatly to make a small comfy pillow won't do much for me, but at least she'll get some proper sleep.
Izzy's eyes lit up in excitement and jumped diving right into the rolled ribbon on my lap!
"Ah, that's what I call cozy! Thanks Averen.. Mmm smells like roses!" with that she swiftly fell asleep cuddling up in the ribbon pillow.
Laurence smiled amused at the scene and landed swiftly next to me. Abruptly fixing one finger over my lips, I gestured for him to keep quiet. We don't want to wake her up again!
I leaned towards him still hiding a giggle and whispered "Hhh, sorry for smacking you continuously. I can't help it; you have a pretty hittable face!! Not gonna lie, I enjoyed it!" I chuckled proudly before resting by his side.
He chuckled back leaning in closer, but kept a low key for the pixie, "Hhh you little... ugh it's fine, smack all you want.. doesn't hurt any way."
For some reason he became silent all of a sudden. Constantly staring at me.
What's with that look.. something wrong?
Do I have something on my face?!
Leo shook his head waking up alarmed when he noticed my confusion staring back at him.
He's blushing like crazy!! Honestly it's kind of cute.
Though I wouldn't mind messing with him for a bit, "You okay Leo? You seemed lost up there for a while.."
He stood up brushing a hand through his messy wind hair and fumbled something I couldn't catch.
