I was standing in Averys kitchen with her family , Five - 0 team and a few of her guys who joined us she was downstairs making someone talk luckily her basement is soundproof lauren said "so you're dating my sister ?" I looked at her I said "yes" Clara said "and who are you ?" Steve and his team was amused I said "Lieutenant Catherine Rollins Ma'am" i took a sip of my drink Luis and Carson wanted to laugh the other boys were just shaking their heads Mike said "Lieutenant ?" I said "Ex Navy Intelligence with connections in the CIA , Iraq and Still the navy once you're navy you never lose your title it's why steve is commander steve Mcgarrett 5 years navy intelligence 6 years with the navy seals" I shrugged Chris said "how'd you meet our sister ?" I looked at Steve he said "it wasn't me" I said "oh so you didn't get her blown up ?" I said "Steve actually on and off for about 8 years until he realized he liked A we called it quits he's dating a girl name Lynn she's very sweet not awkward honestly" I shrugged the the basement door opened and we heard screaming she came walking up her hands covered in blood chin said "that's a record" Avery said "he lasted 3 minutes longer then I thought but he talked I'm very persuasive" Lou said "mhm that's code for you made him bleed" She said "no I just cut over his package" Adam said "ooo yeah I'd talk too" she kissed me and then went to wash her hands
Averys POV
After I washed my hands of his blood I sat on the counter behind Catherine she stood in between my legs and leaned her head on my chest Danny said "Animal why you look aggravated ?" Steve said "Gabriel he's always one step ahead somehow" Carson said "fuck why'd you say that name ?" I said "wait for it" I heard "GABRIEL WAYNECROFT IS A GOD DAMN RUTHLESS DRUG LORD WHO IS ALSO A PIECE OF FUCKING SHIT!" Kono said "well damn what'd he do to Emily ?" I said "Yes alright Em you get your wish he's in Europe the file will be waiting for you on the plane including all his contacts his friends and the people who work for him in Europe kill whoever you please just no innocents and don't leave the streets of Europe bloodily oh and your new weapons came in they'll be on the plane as well I'll pay you don't worry" she said "you are my favorite boss" I said "now get out" she left Danny said "yo can I play your Mario kart ?" I signed 'I want nothing to do with them' she signed 'I understand that we don't either but you also hate when people stare' I sighed I signed 'go in the living room I'm gonna start cooking and talk to them ' she nodded and she left I went into the fridge and grabbed everything I needed as well as the pantry and the pans I said "either stop staring or say whatever you're thinking" My dad said "you disappeared" I said "I know and best decision I ever made there was a difference between the way you treated me and the way you treated them to you I wasn't important because I didn't play sports" my mom said "that doesn't mean you can just leave we looked for you" I said "No you didn't when I left it wasn't spontaneous I had been deciding for awhile and Luis left with me by that time I had made friends you never knew about and they had connections so we drove until we got to Chicago and my life started there and that's my home Miami is just a reminder of the worst days of my life Chicago is my home nothing else and I know you didn't look because I've had someone watching you for 10 almost 11 years I've known every move you've made everything you've done hell you told people I died which was amusing to me" Chris said "at least we went to college you didn't do anything with your life" I looked at him I tilted my head I said "you mean Miami U that you're actually failing at the moment ? Unfortunately for you while you were paying so much attention to their sports you didn't pay attention to my grades I had a 5.0 and I have an IQ of over 200 to the world I'm a genius when I left I got my diploma from Miami high and got 3 degrees 1 from Harvard 1 from Stanford and the other from NYU you don't know me and you never will because I have no interest in being apart of your family again" Taylor said "what do you even do that makes you so connected ?" I said "that's not your concern we may share a last name and blood but my family is those people in the living room and Rihanna that's it no one else like I've told people 'blood doesn't make me trust anyone because those you share blood with are the first to betray you' oh lucy and vero your parents know about high school and their not very happy about it either" I smiled sarcastically at them I picked up the food I made and walked to the living room and sat down with Cath I whispered "do you want kids ?" She looked at me she nodded rapidly I kissed her I said "I love you and we will don't worry" she leaned into me she's was amazing woman
Carson's POV
I was in Averys studio at the house playing with her album and listening to her new songs when her family came walking in Chris said "since when was she such a bitch ?" I said "Since you made her one" Mike said "excuse me ?" I said "simple between the way you treated her at home and the way lauren and them treated her at school she became cold she learned to trust no one and to let no one in" Normani said "what exactly did you do to her Lauren ?" Lauren said "nothing" I said "that's a good one Lauren as for what she did ? Lauren and Avery are only a year apart actually used to be extremely close until Lauren got popular then she went from being Averys best friend to Averys biggest bully between the pranks , the humiliation and the countless beatings you gave her she grew numb to the pain of anything you ask why she's a bitch ? It's because your family made her one and if you weren't related you'd be dead that simple you ask why she hates you just look in the mirror gives you the perfect answer" camila said "but she trusts them" I said "I met Avery 9 almost 10 years ago when I met her the only person she even let near her was Luis and that's because the day she left he did as well he was tired of watching you 3 beat on her for no reason just to prove you were cool in reality all 3 of you are pathetic pieces of shit and most of the people that work for Avery want your blood but no one makes a move without her orders she met them when she was 17 and it took them 2 years to gain her trust she doesn't give her trust out she sees through people she learned even the ones who are supposed to be your blood can betray you in the worst way so me ?
