The birds chirped outside as Sandy walked in her new school. She looked around at the many unknown students surrounding her. she knew this was gonna be stressful but she had to keep up. "I guess I'll have to ask what class all the 6th graders are in.." She looked around but didn't know who to ask, until a tall cat with long pink hair walked over to her. Her hair was braided in the front, pulling back the hair from her face. "Can I help you?" She asked. She was a lot taller than Sandy was, and was probably a lot stronger too. It worried her but she nodded and said, "Yeah, do you know where the 6th grade building is?" The cat nodded and offered her paw to Sandy. She blushed a bit but cleared her head and took her paw.
In class...
Sandy thought about her short time spent with that girl, she seemed nice but cautious at the same time. Her gaze itself could scare anyone away. But her paws were soft, and she acted oddly sweet to Sandy. Even that single walk with her started to make Sandy's heart feel warm. Her cheeks felt hot, but she suddenly shook the thought away as she didn't even know the girl's name. There was a good chance she didn't feel the same way anyway... But she knew if she really wanted to try to get a stronger relationship with her, she'd have to get to know her more.
Sandy took a deep breath and looked around the classroom. She walked over to the tallest one sitting there. Sandy stood a few inches away from the girl's desk and tapped her shoulder, " U-uh, hey, so I just wanted to thank you for helping me get to class, I'm Sandy, you?" She asked nervously. The girl sat up and looked at her, " Anytime, I'm HW, are you new here?" Sandy blushed, " Yeah, I'm guessing you've been here for a while" she noted. HW just nodded and then sat back down in her seat, while Sandy did the same.
