Winter break

It's finally winter break! I'm so happy, this means more sleep and food! Anyways it's the first day of winter break and my friends and I have decided to go to the coffee shop.

I got up from bed and chose my outfit. I decided on my teal and black sweater, black skinny jeans and my teal vans. I also wore my internet heart shaped necklace and my Fall Out Boy beanie.

I walked downstairs to cook my breakfast. Miranda and my dad have to work today and it's also 12 in the afternoon.

"Who's there?" Dani yelled as she came into the kitchen with a baseball bat

"Me, who else". I laughed

"I don't know just in case". Dani shrugged

"Why a baseball bat?". I asked

"His name is bob and I keep him under my bed". She stated

I nodded and continued cooking my breakfast. Once I was done I started eating. After a few minutes I cleaned up my mess and went to the living room.

"What are you doing today?" Dani asked

"Dani don't you remember?" I asked

"If I did I wouldn't be asking". She said a 'duh' tone

"We're going to the coffee shop". I laughed

"I knew that! Do you think I'm stupid?" Dani asked

"So this weather". I said changing the subject

"It needs to snow!" Dani yelled

I shrugged

"We should go". I said as we both stood up.

I grabbed my money and my phone before we started to walk.

When arrived at The Coffee shop, I saw Louis with his friends.

"Shit". I said under my breath

"Did you say something?" Dani asked me

"No". I responded

We walked up to the cashier and ordered our drinks. I got a caramel mocha and Dani got a green tea.

"I'll bring out your drinks". The cashier said

We nodded and walked to the back of the room. We walked past Louis and his friends. They were sitting at one of the tables in the middle of the room. When we reached the back of the room we sat down on the couches.

"You know what I would do here". Dani said

"What?" I asked

"I would paint the walls different colors". Dani states

"Why". I questioned

"Because I don't like the color orange". She said in a 'duh' tone

I laughed at her statement. At the corner of my eye I could see Louis coming.

"Que pasa mi bitches!" Lena yell

I bursted out laughing.

"What does that mean?" Dani said really confused

"Forget out it". Lena said as she rolled her eyes

"Uh here's your drinks".

I look up and it's him. He hands Dani her drink. When he hands me my drink our hand touched. It sent chills down my spine.

"Thanks, you can go now". Someone said

I didn't know who it was, it was Jake. Louis awkwardly walked away back to his friends.

"Imma go order". Lena stated

"I'll go with you". Jake said

With that they went to order. Dani was on her phone. I looked around the room and noticed a girl like blue hair. She was wearing a Nirvana shirt with jeans and combat boots. She was also reading while listening to music.

"That's Violet". Dani informs me

I wonder what she's doing here alone.

"What do you know about her?" I asked

"She was friends with the ratchets but she 'changed' so they shunned her". Dani explains

Lena and Jake walked back with their drinks in hand. My phone vibrated in my pocket meaning a have a message.

"Met at the park?" - Louis

I smile and respond yes

"Guys I'll be back". I said as I her up and walk out with my coffee

When I reach the park I see Louis sitting on a bench.

"Hey". I greet

"Hi". He smiles

His smile made me smile.

"What's up?" I ask

"I want to ask you a question". Louis says

I nod my head for him to continue talking. Louis takes both my hands and looks deeply into my eyes like he's looking for something.

"This is going to sound so cheesy but here I go". He began

"This is hard to explain, this feeling that I have for you. This feeling I've never felt before. I feel like I'm living in outer space".

"When your with me I seem to forget about everything. Aubree, I've been waiting to ask you this question ever since I spilled water on your shirt". He smiles

I feel my heart skip a beat.

"Will you be my girlfriend?" He asks
