Mirio and Nejire looked around the warehouse. It was musty and dark, and completely silent. Every noise someone made would make the group jump.
They checked the first and second floors over and found some of the villains hiding, but no sign of Tamaki.
Mirio opened a door he hadn't noticed before and saw another villain, curled up in a ball... crying?
"Will you hurt me if I come close to you?" Mirio asked, making the girl jump.
"No. I swear on my life." The girl sniffed, wiping her tears from under her glasses.
"Okay," Mirio cautiously sat down next to her, "what's wrong? Just because you're a villain doesn't mean I can't help you out."
"I didn't want to be a villain, they killed my big sister and forced me. At first, I was planning a way to escape, but then they brought someone in. I knew they'd hurt him, so I stuck around to keep him sane, but..." the girl trailed off.
"Did they kill him?" Mirio asked softly.
"Never for longer then five minutes. It's Kagame's Quirk, he can bring the people he has killed back to life as long as they were killed lead than five minutes ago." The girl sighed.
"They made me use my Quirk on him. Demon can be used in several ways. I can make people do things, or change parts of their personalities and memories. Only slight adjustments will work, though. So now, he... isn't the same.
Sure, he still looks the same, but unless something powerful blocks my horrible Quirk - something stronger than these stupid glasses - then he might be able to go back to normal, well normal as in before I had to change him. Maybe another brainwashing Quirk..."
"Okay, I'm going to need you to come with me. What's your name?" Mirio smiled, standing up and offering the girl his hand.
"Imu Gaman'nasai. I don't care if I go to prison, please just help Tamaki." Imu said sadly as she stood.
"What? Where is Tamaki?" Mirio asked.
"Down in the basement in the black corridor, but be careful he-"
But Mirio ran off before she could finish.
As he ran by the group, Nejire began to chase after him.
"LeMillion, where are you going?" She shouted.
"One of the villains told me where Tamaki is! Come on!"
"What if they were lying and it's a trap?"
"I'm sure it isn't!"
Mirio turned into a corridor with black markings on the walls. This had to be the black corridor.
There was only one door in the hallway. At the very end. Mirio opened the door and...
Tamaki was humming to himself, holding a pencil to the wall. The boy turned around.
"Who are you?" He asked, placing the pencil on his bed and walking closer to the heroes in training.
"Amajiki, it's us! Hadou and Mirio!"
Tamaki's eyes became wide.
"Did you say.... Mirio?" He asked.
Mirio's heart was filled with hope. Did Tamaki remember him?
"You- You absolute bastard!" Tamaki screamed.
"What the- Amajiki what's wrong?" Nejire asked.
Tamaki didn't reply. He continued to glare at Mirio. Blades began to form from his fingers.
Before they could react, the blades had caught hold of their hero costumes and had them pinned on the walls.
Mirio used his Quirk, setting himself free.
"Please Tama-"
"Shut up, shut up, shut up!" Tamaki screamed.
"Please, what did I do?" Mirio was practically begging at this point.
"You took everything from me. You really thought I didn't know what you did? I'm not an idiot!" Tamaki yelled.
Another blade shot towards Mirio, and the blonde jumped to the side. Nejire was struggling to get down behind him.
"You're even more of a fool than I thought if you think I'll let you trick me again." The dark haired boy laughed.
Nejire finally got herself out of the grip of the blade and landed behind Mirio.
At that exact second, Tamaki summoned another blade. Either way, it was game over.
Mirio used his Permeation on instinct. Nejire's scream echoed in the empty room, bouncing off the walls in a loop.
Tamaki withdrew the blades - most probably causing more damage - and Mirio rushed to Nejire's side.
"Hey, keep your eyes open. Come on, you're going to be okay, Nejire." Mirio couldn't care less about hero names.
He had to keep his friend awake.
"Togata-kun... Am I going to... die?" Nejire asked in a whisper. "I don't want to die, I'll never see my parents again, or you, or Amajiki, please. I don't want to die."
Nejire began crying.
"Hey, calm down. You're not going to die. Keep your eyes open. Help will come soon. You're going to be okay, we'll get you to hospital as soon as we can."
"But- Togata what if-"
"Hey, don't think about 'what if's, okay? We're gonna be fine, and we'll all go back to UA together. You, me and Tamaki. The Big Three reunited." Mirio smiled.
There was a thud from the other side of the room.
"Wait, please, I'm sorry, please don't hurt me!" Tamaki yelled, pushing himself into the far corner.
"Hurt you? We're not going to hurt you, we're here to save you."
"But-But Kagame-Kun only calls me That when he is angry..."
The sound of footsteps approaching was probably the most comforting feeling all day.
Several of the Pros and police officers came into the room. Lead by Imu.
"Oh thank god you're okay!"
Imu hugged Tamaki tightly.
"I'm-I'm sorry! I hurt her! Kaga-Chan will be so angry, he's going to be so angry!" Tamaki panicked.
"Not to worry, Amajiki. You're safe now." Eraser Head said.
"What is... Amajiki?" Tamaki asked, having been released by Imu.
"Nobody here has called him by his family name. That Kagame bitch called him 'Hoseki' and none of the others could be assed to call him by his name, so they called him 'kid' or 'pest'." Imu sighed.
"Nejire was badly injured. Ta- uh, Amajiki- God, that feels weird to say - was triggered by my first name for some reason, and attacked us." Mirio explained.
Aizawa nodded.
"Midnight, help LeMillion carry NejireChan outside, someone call an ambulance. You," Aizawa pointed to Imu, "come with us with Amajiki. Any funny business and I won't hesitate to restrain you. Got it?"
"Yessir!" Imu replied.
At long last, they had him back. Tamaki Amajiki was saved.
Yo this is the longest chapter so far. Almost two thousand words. That's how long chapters in my books usually are minimal.
Yeah, I kinda rushed this, it's kinda cringe but whatever.
Wait seven years for the next update because I'm making a Danganronpa book with my classmates because why the fuck not?
Peace out Ladies, Gentlemen and Nons of the Jury. UwU
