Nejire left Recovery Girl's office with Mirio the next day.
The two argued about who's fault it was for a while as they walked, and finally agreed to disagree.
"Why do you think they took Tamaki of all people?" Mirio asked suddenly.
Nejire began to think.
"Amajiki-Kun has a really powerful Quirk, perhaps that's it. I doubt they know about his anxiety, but if they do they might think that makes him easier to get to. Honestly, I'm not sure. Those are the only things I can think of." The blue haired girl shrugged.
Mirio nodded.
"How'd they get passed UA's alarms, though? I mean, the League Of Villains only got the press through because of their leader's Quirk allowing him to break the door..."
"Hey, hey! Cheer up! C'mon Togata-Senpai! We dunno how they got in, but we're gonna save Amajiki-Kun!" Nejire yelled, causing a scene as per usual.
Mirio smiled.
"Right, we're gonna save him! I bet he's gonna be back by the end of the month!"
~~~
Tamaki was not back by the end of the month. Or the month after. Or the one after that. Nobody knew where the young hero in training was.
---
"Happy birthday, Hoseki-Chan!" Kagame laughed, skipping into the room.
Tamaki didn't even flinch at the sudden noise and looked up at his torturer.
"What do you say, Tamaki?" Kagame asked.
"Thank you." Tamaki replied quickly.
"Good! I have a gift for you, Hoseki-Chan. We've been working on it for a loooooooong while! Wanna see?"
Tamaki nodded, getting up and walking forward as Kagame motioned for him to follow.
The two walked through the building. The only noise was the sound of Tamaki's heavy breathing and Kagame's heeled boots clicking on the ground as he skipped along.
They stopped outside a door. Kagame opened the door for Tamaki and the latter stepped inside shakily.
It was a small room, there was only a twin bed in the up most left corner. It was bright in the room, the walls were bare and white. The floor changed from the outside stone floor to a soft wooden one.
It was... nice.
"Welcome to your new room! I'll see you later, Hoseki-Chan, for your proper gift!" Kagame walked out of the room, and the door locked with a quiet click.
Tamaki felt something roll onto his feet, and looked down to see a pencil. The boy picked the pencil up, looked at the plain walls and smiled slightly. For the first time in months.
He placed the pencil under the pillow on his bed and looked around. There was still nothing to do.
Tamaki sat there until Kagame returned with a needle filled with a clear liquid.
Tamaki instinctively was scared. He had every right to be.
He should be absolutely petrified.
