FLASHBACK

India was in her room playing with her new American girl dollhouse that her mom had just go her for her fifth birthday which was yesterday.

She in her own world playing with her dolls and dressing them up. She started hearing yelling and screaming coming from her parents room.

So she got up and walked down the hall to their room to see what was going on.

"I don't care what you say I'm taking the kids and we're moving back to Atlanta!" Her mom yelled at her dad

India stood by the door peaking in through the little crack watching what was going on. "No your not so shut the hell up Brittany cause your not leaving me!" He yelled back at her while grabbing her by her neck

India's eyes widened as she watched what happened. "D-Derek l-let me go." Her mom said barely able to get anything out

Derek looked Brittany in the eyes before throwing her on the ground and walked over her and went to open the door just before he could see India she ran back into her room.

Derek grabbed the car keys and left the house.

Once India heard the front door close she got up from her bed and went to her moms room to see her mom still on the floor crying.

"Mommy what's wrong?" India asked while moving her hair out of her moms face

"Nothing baby mommy is just sad but I'm okay." Brittany said while drying her face

The last thing Brittany wanted was to see any of her kids to see that their dad has been abusing her for the past four months.

India laid down on the carpet next to her mom. "Mommy why did daddy throw you on the floor?" India asked

"He was just upset babygirl." Brittany said while brushing India's curls out her face

"How about this you wanna call uncle Ray?" Brittany asked her daughter

India smiled at her and sat up. "Yes mommy." She said excitedly. Brittany grabbed her phone off her side table near her bed and clicked the face time button calling her big brother

"Hey B what's up." He smiled at the camera.

"Hey uncle Ray!" India's high pitched voice yelled

"Hey babygirl whatcu doing." He asked while laughing at his niece

"Nothing sitting down with mommy."

"That's good what did you do today?" He asked

"I played with my dollhouse and I played with the baby dolls you got me." They started talking about each other's days laughing and smiling which made Brittany feel some what happy because she can see India's smile on her face.

"When are we going to visit you again uncle Ray?" India asked making Brittanys head pop up

"You gonna have to ask mommy about that India." Raymond said while laughing
